Jay Sean is one of the most underrated artists of that era. He had some absolute bangers. That 2010 sound is so amazing to listen to nowadays. There was a grittiness about those songs I just love.

BUT, he has never been actually from india (as much as indians want to believe) he is proud of his ROOTS which is fantastic, but listen to how he says 'UK' and 'London' in his tunes - not the motherland

@Ekta8477 I disagree with those labels. I hate how black (black as in skin colour) Americans are considered "African" Americans. Most of them were born in the US and their families have been in the country for hundreds of years, meaning they have little to no identification with Africa. Therefore they are just Americans. Besides, if an English couple moved to the US and had a kid, would you say the kid was English? Nope, you'd just say he's American. It's a double standard.
