Slash has amazing drip, iconic style and soulful melodic great playing, that's why he's the most famous rock guitarist ever and that's undeniable you can ask any young kid for a guitarist and they'll likely say Slash, if you ask someone who is not into this guitar world for a guitarist and they'll say Slash. For listening to shred boring ass sweep picking djenty guitarists you can find thousands of them in KZbin... How many with that Slash vibes? Very, very few.

I have the entire concert from Paris, France on tape which I recorded live on mtv. It’s laying around somewhere. I remember he played a solo where he was just shredding all over the place which he rarely does. It was by far the best solo he ever played from that day till now. It blew everyone’s mind. Nothing else he’s done since has even come close.

Slash is one of the best in my book. Terribly underrated.

Slash is one of the best, but he is not underrated, for sure!
@rcknrol72582 жыл бұрын
@@douglasbarroso5296 He gets passed over as one of the " players " because of the shredders that were popular in the 80s . Hes so tasteful and his solos have a point .
@douglasbarroso52962 жыл бұрын
@@rcknrol7258 Slash is fantastic, amazing! In 80's he was uderrated, but nowadays he got respect, even among the mainline guitar players, in fact he is one of them, he is mainstream, one of the most influential guitar players. I begun to play guitar in late 80's influenced by him, even though, I also like guys like Y Malmsteen and S Vai. Slash's style is diferent, but he is so good as them!
@leonardomurillo62562 жыл бұрын
He is not underrated, he is easily the most recognizable guitarist in the world alongside with maybe Hendrix and Jimmy Page. What happens is that a lot of amateur guitarists start learning complex techniques which is good but they get super cocky and start thinking that Slash is "mediocre" just because he doesn't play tapping or sweep-picking LOL

I remember that I swear he started that fad or maybe it was Dave from Megadeth he liked to voice his opinion as well. I don't mind a singer setting up a tune but other wise shut up and sing. I don't need to hear the singer go on for 5 minutes about there personal opinion about some one. You can tell the rest of the band was bored with it as well. I've seen them just jam a little until he was done bitching.

The Gibson Les Paul of Slash is a Standard or Custom and what color it has??? What year is that model?
@michael46304 жыл бұрын
Not 100% sure but I think it's the 1987 Gibson Les Paul Standard in Cherry Sunburst he bought brand new in 1988.
@michael46304 жыл бұрын
Yes, I answer to myself haha :) It is the 1987 Gibson Les Paul in Cherry Sunburst ( Serial N°#817 57532 ) one of three he bought at the same time. But one of them got stolen while in tour in '88. He broke the neck of this one several times because of these neck bends he does on Civil War. But always repaired.
