I really think u saw ur first Big Muskie with me on Yellowstone Lake with me the first time u could get u off that river. U may not remember but the fish hit and missed at the boat before I gave u the lesson on follows at the boat. I will always remember because that was exactly when u became hooked on Skees.

I'd like to see more river fishing! I know sometimes feels like with fishing rivers that ya don't have much of a chance at a 50" fish or isn't as fun cause don't see any other boaters. You guys sound more excited fishing lakes, but imho the aesthetics of filming rivers are more personally enjoyable (for me, maybe other viewers as well) when fishing rivers. Maybe because things tend to happen slightly closer to the camera or there isn't as many waves from a large fetch on the lake. .. in summary, I liked! Keep filming! I'll keep an eye out for ya'll, wherever you choose to fish!..

Give you guys A LOT of credit! I couldn't EVER target fish like that. I don't ever TRY to catch a fish 8 feet away from the boat (figure 8 business), kinda not fun for me. I like the fight, like the first one u caught in video. It would drive me insane watching them follow, follow, and follow again, but not eat. Mad props to you guys, beautiful fish n great video!

Also yall should try lighter gear, ive caught a 30 inch muskie on a ugly stick gx2 combo with 15 pound braid and my friend caught a 40 on a ultralite rod with 8 pounf test.

As fun as it is catching a musky on light gear, it's not necessarily ethical. You put a lot of stress on the fish with those long fights and it's always a priority to release the fish in the best condition possible.

@@Schimmies that's true. But i mostly fish in spillways so the fish fight heavy current constantly so I'm sure theyd be fine and i always make sure they swim off good.

Fish with suckers on quick strike rigs in October. One straight down, one under a bobber behind the boat. Hit the weed edges. Be on a good spot at moonrise, set, underfoot, overhead. You'll get a musky.
