School Bus Demo Derby 2017 Big Butler Fair

The 2017 school bus demolition derby drew a huge crowd Sunday evening July 2nd 2017 at the Big Butler Fair in Butler, Pennsylvania. People really love these events! The demo derby begins with two warm-up heats with 5 buses then 4 buses. The main event features all 9 school buses smashing and crashing, with some occasional loud pops.

Oh. Well, there were 50 cars total (which is the most the fair's had in years) and 30 of the 50 competed in the last chance heat!

such a waste ! those make awesome RV's im guessin they pick the worst of the worst high mileage worn out busses for this, or hopefully so.

Rusted-out, high-mileage buses are pretty darn common in PA, lol. Get a running and driving bus in bad shape with an undesirable powertrain (Navistar T444E, Cummins 5.9, Allison AT545) and you've got a demo derby bus on your hands.
