My favorite thing about these is that even though they don't have the most insane ballet technique, or the craziest flips and tricks, it doesn't even matter. They don't need it. They're showing people at home that passion, elegance, grace, and emotion is what contemporary is about. Honestly, the fact that they aren't doing flashy tricks makes it even better and shows how beautiful movement can be on it's own.

I keep coming back to this video. Every dancer here has such great control over their bodies. It takes so much practice to move like that. I've been doing contemporary dance for 3 years now and only recently picked up lyrical jazz so I've made this video my goal for the time being. I hope I'll be able to pull off this choreography by the end of the year!
