"And meteors, most commonly, are made out of iron." This is not the case. Only around 4-5% of meteorites whose falls were observed contain a significant percentage of iron. Iron meteorites are, however, significantly more common to find without observing a fall beforehand due to their composition being so blatantly different from everything around them. If a stony meteorite comes down and its fall is not observed, it is much more difficult to find due to it generally blending in much better with Earth rocks. Additionally, in the case of truly ancient falls, stony meteorites are much more prone to eroding away than iron ones. Thus, around half of meteorite finds are irons, while only 4-5% of meteorite falls are irons.

Autotomize could also be based on autotomy, when an animal purposefully amputates a part of its body to escape a predator, like what some lizards do with their tails. 11:54 I would like to correct you by saying that the move's name is "autotomize" not "automize". In case I need to explain this, autotomize is a procedure that some animals can do in nature. They amputate limbs or other parts of their bodies (which they can regenerate) in order to both leave a distraction behind (in order to keep the predator busy) and be able to move faster. In this case the pokemon would be cutting/removing parts of its body/armor in order to be able to move more swiftly due to not having as much weight anymore.

Ahem: The composition of the Sun is roughly three quarters of the Sun's mass consists of hydrogen (~73%); the rest is mostly helium (~25%), with much smaller quantities of heavier elements, including oxygen, carbon, neon, and iron. (wikipedia copypaste) So, the Sun´s plasma is not mainly made from metal, but hydrogen and helium. In that case Solgaleo may be a reference to the Sun, but its typing is not correcty matched. Also Plasma is a super hot state of matter, beyond gas. You know what else is plasma? Fire. Fire itself is actually super heated gas. So yes, fire type fits more than steel type. You could argue that it is that type for balancing reasons and too many fire legendary exist already. Still a cool video though. Apreciate the effort making these videos, shows your deep research. I thought move work is through construct or energy to the respectful type. Eg when charmander use metal claw metal construction magically form in the shape of a claw on the arms. This would explain how whooper can use ice punch

"now the vegans can hunt too" ok, that was a perfect joke... I appreciate a joke where you first laugh at face value, and laugh louder when you think deeper about it

I'm so glad you're doing this as well! Are you still doing the every type explained series too? I believe there's 3 types left to cover still

In it's mouth! Even Rusty gets that. He taught his Geodude Streng-th by shoving it down his throat. And it worked. Rusty got thrown "to Victory!"

I would like to watch a "Every Legendary Pokemon Explained". I think there are way too many legendaries, and some of them might not be that special to hold their title.
@ALEJOwhatever5 жыл бұрын
@IceBecause it isn't about a type of Pokemon, it is about a category. For example, if it makes sense for Manaphy or Mewtwo to be legendaries, not explaining their type.

Actually On that note Mew is able to learn every move
@FrostyTheCookie5 жыл бұрын
False. There are plenty of moves mew can't learn. It's really known for being able to learn all tms and tutor moves.

Keep in mind that Metal is an element _wu xing_ (as opposed to the Fire, Air, Water, and Earth of Western elemental cosmology). As such, a move like Flash Cannon is essentially infusing Metal-elemental energy into an attack, like Gajeel's Iron Dragon's Roar in _Fairy Tail_ .

you forgot the normal type, the fairy type, and the dragon type in your last video. EXPLAIN TO US WHY NORMAL PKMN ARE NORMAL TYPED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I always believed that at using magnet bomb the Pokémon create a magnetic field around the opponent and just threw high-speed metal at it Interesting how certain things can be perceived so differently
