I haven't watched the video yet but can hardly wait 2 make some tennis shoe gnomes( Harley/n girl)4 my son and his girlfriend! Have 2 c a hand surgeon 2mar since I just broke my ring finger on my dominate hand, it was a bad break. I was just starting 2 enjoy the gnomes 2!😁😁😁

@@SarahNenniDaher maybe slightly smaller. I use 6 inches if pool noodle for the body. I've developed a super quick no sew method for my gnome workshops, its foil proof for the non crafty ladies. I love all if your videos, plus your pretty entertaining Sarah thanks for all you do.

Sara-I’m confused as to how to attach these shoes to the gnome if you are not using a cone? Or do you have to use a cone so that your rice/poly beads don’t fall out?

What type of gnome are you using? I used a cone on the ghost gnome, but you can also use a pool noodle body or a Styrofoam ball/egg body. If you are using a sock gnome body, you might be interested in the sneakers I'll be sharing on 10/23/2020 - they are smaller than these and built to just set a completed sock gnome body on top. If you like these shoes, however, just do not add the dowels and socks (do add the weight all the way to the top), and then hot glue the bottom of the sock gnome to the inside and top of the shoes. Does that make sense?

Depending on whether your little gnome will have decorative extras (firearm, antlers, etc.), I would use a taller shaft (like the high top sneakers I posted last week), but it will definitely work the same! Just make sure you get those dowels in the right place, and any cone gnome will work. :) Have fun making your hunter gnome, Tammie!

Hi I’m just wondering, if anyone has had problems with Low top Sneakers pattern. I bought the first run of patterns. There is no first toe piece pattern I have a tongue pattern piece. Most importantly nothing fits Top, Sides and Back piece is not big enough, not sure what to do with tongue. Please Sarah help me out.

This pattern is different than the one included in the pattern set. There is an update to the shoe pattern to fix the one piece that was shorted when the pattern was created (it’s the back piece). All other patterns were correct, but I included 7 new styles for free to make up for that single piece mishap. You can email me for the update if you haven’t been notified by the system yet. @Sherry Bethke Hahah I keep it in my craft room. :) I printed the pattern pieces onto card stock to make it a bit easier (I'm rough on patterns - I can't seem to trace to save my life). 😂
