@@sirrealism7300oh apparently that command prompt where you give kinitoPET admin permission is fake which is why there was those stacking unlabeled transparent windows behind it. Sorta like when impersonation websites will make fake logins in order to trick you into typing in your username and password. Patch notes says they removed that part due to people thinking it was a virus along with fixing the part where the monitor stays turned off at the polyhouse. I should have more faith that tomagto gamins knows what they are doing they are a big load now.

I am sure in Britian is different and has some kind of modern legal way of dealing with that. You know, monarchy and all that stuff. Secret Little Haven & that one turn-based rpg game Tomato played a while ago are the only games in this genre that really work for me. And to be honest, I think that's because neither try to dox the player and instead aim for serving an actual narrative.

this game is like, peak dangerous, lame ass horror. the scares arent effective nor affective, its derivative of a million other shitty "haunted bonzai buddy" stories, it goes a step beyond being harmful towards people's eyes by using the worst kinds of flashing screen nonsense as a constant fixture in the game, and worst of all it violates the implicit trust you share with the developer whenever computer fuckery is a prevalent theme by repeatedly going too many steps too far with regards to how much you a game should interact with the machine its working on. all in service of, again, a shit game taking surface level features of other, better works, and presenting it as though its even remotely competent.

This game is "ok". But it's toddler levels of scary for me. .imscared will forever be the OG of this kind of stuff. Even after Undertale it was and still is king. The first of the meta PC horror games. Also mad inspiration from the lost game "Sad Satan" in this.

More of a Bonzi Buddy homage, don't really see the DDLC in here at all. DDLC was a game that went beyond it's bounds, this doesn't even pretend to be a game, more like a virtual machine. Though I must say for me the "evil mascot" thing is kind of overplayed, but at least this is more original in regards to that

I know its not my place as a viewer to review games but something i kept thinking about throughout the stream is how we just kinda moved from “oh a website with sam and jade” and “your in the french catacombs” and none of it really felt like it connected until the very end when Kinito makes a polyhouse based on it. I guess thats the point for games like this but i also never felt comfortable with kinitoPET. From the website scene KinitoPET constantly had demonic vibes and showed us dead bodies and stuff and im just thinking “wheres the subtlety, what the hell is kinitopets angle? Are we in hell? We must be in hell because your turning off my monitor.” Is it a AI? Is this not supposed to be my computer but a guy in hell? Stop constantly trying to dox people! I guess since this game lets you know off the bat that it will do this its fine. It feels like the time in Incryption when the boss makes you open up your own file directory but ramped up a little. Anyways like i said i only experienced this game by parasocially connecting to my streamer so my opinion is less than valid.
