I tried to give up smoking many many times over the years and I couldn't, and I hated myself for the fact I couldn't. I always remembered the early years when smoking Felt So Good - that wa s in my teens - and on top of it, I was trained as a classical singer. I gave up smoking when I was about 62. I sat in a chair in my bedroom and the sun was just pouring directly into my eyes; the sun was incredibly strong. And I --- prayed:help me. I was also fighting cancer which I got when I was 55. I swear there was something in that sun that changed me because after that day I didn't smoke. Once in awhile I had a cigarette, but little by little I stopped. I'm 77 years old now and a few months ago I had one cigarette after many years of abstinence. oh my God what an addiction. But that was that. I was done.

Have you tried alternate nostril breathing? That is supposed to curb addictions if you have the desire again

wow so interesting! the same happened to me- I also met a mystery healer who was angelic- now mysteriously gone after he helped me- i too have a very different life- and I work as a healer as well( I cook health-supportive food for people as my gift and help people understand their heath and natural healing abilities via prana. ) I wish i could have met my healer in person, I now am working on my own with no mentor...I made some mistakes and have to be very careful with my words and not push away people. I also know as angelics, they only help when needed and asked. and my mentor taught me 'my word is my wand'.

I read a series of short stories published in two books called "A Blessing in Disquise" by the late Andrea Joy Cohen. She was a spiritually evolved Cancer researcher who died of esophigial cancer. Her mother published her second book after she was taken from us too early. Her true mission was to deepen our understanding of why we are here and to see our predicament as a blessing of God. The stories like Lars' story have wonderment and show us miracles in what seemed hopeless tragedy.

What is his basis for assuming Jesus and Mary were married ? The spiritual communion should not need s physical union. Certainly not at their " level" .Also considering that there is nothing " worldly " about Jesus. Which is unique in all the Prophets. His birth ,his life on earth, his departure. No ties no occupation no relations. God like in every way. Nothing " human" about him as you and I are human. I haven't read his books maybe he explains all this.

The Bible was written by humans and is not 100% accurate. After having listened to thousands of NDEs (Near Death Experiences) over the years I’ve come to realize that God is real, Jesus is real, but ALL religions are manmade.
