Buttons Into Tin ASMR

I made a fast drawing as an experiment with titling...I will paint it darker and brighter to read next time. I open up a couple of pouches of buttons I picked up from Fabric Fabric a terrific store in Toronto.

I love old buttons; my grandmother was a seamstress and i have a collection of her old buttons from the 30s-60s. The quality is vastly superior to todays' buttons. I have several of those old abalone buttons like u have there ❤

That's a great point. New buttons sometimes just crack. I bought some for a vintage faux fur coat...got a dry cleaner to sew them on...and they were breaking the first day in winter when I put the coat on! The material is stronger and more resilient in vintage buttons. You are so lucky to have some of your grandmothers collection. Thanks for sharing, I love to hear these stories.
