@@VikingMale If you go back far enough with any family everyone is from somewhere they aren't currently. Also if you go back far enough in those german lines you go right back to british monarchy cause how succession worked and sometimes people just didnt have any surviving close relatives.

Australia is still apart of the British monarchy. We were a British colony and we voted for federation in 1901. We are a part of the Commonwealth and are independent in every way except for said monarchy. The Queen appoints a governor general who can throw out the Australian government and hold an election for a new one.
