Lester is kind of forgotten these days. Back in the 90's he was better known. I discovered him in the early 2000's and read alot of his books, but never really learned the method or did much with hit. I was more interested in HIM and his experiences. Now at age 73 am revisiting the "Method" and starting to actually do some of it. I do think that maybe Lester kind of missed something, though. His idea was that we learned how to get OUT OF HERE, and not reincarnate on Earth again. But there is beauty here, there is music and art and there is learning here that can only be gained by living in a physical matter world. In the nonphysical world, guys like Robert Monroe said it gets BORING over there, so we incarnate in different bodies and worlds to learn other things and have experiences you can't have on Earth. But Lester's method has high merit to have a much better life with much less problems.

You don't have to go all the way. You can take it as far as you want. But with the method, you can experience the beauty of earth, the music, the art, and not the bad parts like suffering, which is inherent in everyone. Don't forget Monroe went there with his eartly ideas, concepts, which filter alot of that beauty. Look up Eben Alexander III on youtube, he had a near death experience and he was taken to a different realm. It was not boring for him.

I did accomplish this. However I never heard of Lester at the time. What prompted me to go stress free was that centurions had very little in common. One of the few things that they had in common was that they nothing would bother them. So I decided to go totally stress free. The first time I became totally stress free it lasted a week and the second time a lot longer. What I did was whenever I was about to disagree with someone, about to have an argument or have any negative thoughts I would tell myself "do not stress" and would remind myself the destruction cortisol (drug that's released tp help deal with stress) does to the body and mind. After the first attempt I realised that I needed to do more than just tell myself not to stress. I then actively avoided stressful situations. I would leave an environment or space where I could tell I was going to get stressed out in. I also Incorporated things that reduce stress like exercise and positive thinking. It was a beautiful experience while it lasted which I hope to get back into soon. It's like a super power. Sone of the changes that I noticed were that I would urinate less (cortisol makes you urinate more frequently), sleep was better, my concentration and focus became so much more stronger. I can remember watching TV while people in the room were talking. Usually this would trigger me to become stressed out, annoyed and angry. However despite the volume not even being at it's loudest I could hear everything clearly and everyone else in the room talking did not distract me from hearing what was being said on the TV. All of this made me realise that life is made up of the perspective that we take on. If it's positive we will be happy and if it's negative then we will always think "nothing ever good happens to me" and we'd be sad and angry all the time. This in turn would effect our health. Positive emotions invoking better health and negative emotions invoking sickness.

Good movie. Thanks for making it. What I want to know is, has anyone living actually achieved the state that Lester did? And if not, “Why don’t you do it?” It should only take you a few weeks.” 😂 Seriously, I want to replicate what he did, but it seems that facing death is what propelled him and others like Tolle, to awaken. So why should it take us less time as he implied. Still, It should be fast, easy and cost nothing but time to accomplish.

Thanks for watching! I agree! What motivated Lester was perhaps unique in many ways, and not many are in that situation. I know also he sometimes said things that contradict each other, like it should only take an instant, to some weeks or longer. He also said often that the fist step in the Six steps is the most important. You must want freedom more than you want the world. I guess that's the hardest part for most of us. Again, thanks for watching!

Just like uploader said. Mr levenson mentioned a lot of time in his teaching...first above all...we must know that he was going to die. After all those years working hardly. Dating with different women...he kinda of tired of to it. He mentioned he was always looking for something. But he didn't find it in any relationship or any career. And yes. It was happy to got all those. But he just feel that not right. And Tolle mentioned almost the same. That he was very unhappy since he was young. So...Most of people are looking for achievement of outside. And most of people believe it will bring the satisfaction. And he said he was strongly want to know who is he. And he was very concentrate so that he got into some state. And knowing that he is The I am. Like what Tolle said. That is very important. You must want this very strongly. And you must looking for it in right direction. In fact...when he was alive. People practice the method are surrounding him. And he is a awaken one. That will help people awake faster. Especially for those people ready to do it. Now he is gone. So unless you want this very strongly. Otherwise you will be hard to be completely free by doing the method. Technically...Tolle's way is more easier to most of people. To simply feel your body.

Apple Did you mean to say that Lester helped one person awaken? I was wondering if he actually helped one or more students to “go all the way” as he would say. Thanks for your input. Yes I love connecting with the body, being present. Feeling what is happening when emotions rise instead of resisting them.

@@sungazer888 Yes. He was. Tolle said he was helping a mom in personally. He said that if a teacher concentrate on someone to help. It will help that person awake faster. Lester kinda mentioned the same thing. He said he usually helping people by release restrictions in his own mind. And he seeing that person are completely perfect and freed. He allowed them to..simply just be themselves. So that help those people to get rid of the effect of restrictions. I met a sedona teacher for a period. And now I have 3 conclusions. First you must want it more than anything else. Maybe you are tired of this world. That knowing chase all this thing wouldn't plead you anymore. Secondly you must meet the right teacher or right method. Despite those master are always be with us. But restrictions made us can only received their power by some special situation. And I only know some teachers in internet. Only find myself got a little freed by talked to third one. And the first and the second teacher just took me 2 years and got nothing. So basically it's about my determination. And they are not right teacher for me back them. So I will say Lester's students like Hale. Actually were all prepared to freed their mind more than ever. And they are connecting with Lester strongly more than restrictions. Third thing is all this condition will come together. And then it will make awakening happens. Like Tolle was awaken once before he dumped his ego completely. He said he was there. But he didn't know what happened and just quickly back to all those things make him suffering. It's just a thing that could happen in anytime. It's something not meant to be or not to be. Something not slave by restriction. If all restrictions are about self-repeating. Then letting go is stop it. But most of people are too strongly to follow this self repeating programs. So even they could let go sometimes. But most of time are slave by it. If they met right teacher or right method. Sometimes it could be right person or place. Or with strong desire to it. They will more easier to see through it. Now as Mr levenson not in physical world anymore. The power of the method got weaker. Or more like...When he was arronud. That depend on him and the person using it and his determination. And now it's just left the person using it and his determination. Kinda like Mr levenson attracted those people prepared to be free when he was alive. And now even people are not prepared to be free will know this method too. Thank you. You are great. Have a wonderful day.
