This is really beautiful. 😇 Plus, I agree with something here: He had no servants, yet they called Him Master. He had no degree, yet they called Him Teacher. He had no medicines, yet they called Him Healer. He had no army, yet kings feared Him. He never wrote a word, but is the hero of the most read book. He never baptized a soul, but has countless followers. He won no military battles, yet He conquered the world. He committed no crime, yet they crucified Him. He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today. He had no wife, yet He’s the Bridegroom.

horseman528 I don't know but I heard many lives came to accept and follow Jesus. This movie changed my life too. Even though I got saved at 9, years later I saw this and it touched me so much. Thoughts how I pictured Jesus to look. His eyes, facial features, gauntness, mannerisms and how he spoke. I think picking Robert Powell to portray Jesus was was the best decision of all. It's one thing to read about Jesus in the Bible and how he is described but making this movie really brings the scriptures and accounts of all I've known and read come to life in a very real way. Jesus isn't just a name but a living, breathing person and our Saviour. If I were with him like these people were I'd never want to leave his side. I'd want to spend all my time with Him.

there is no need for conversion ,one can love christ without becoming a christian ,conversion brings political agenda & identity consciousness & believing 100% in something without leaving space for criticism or rational judgement is done by insecure people who do not trust their own judgement ! christ is one the good teachers of the world, who explained how to be virtuous & is a one part of the the many other philosophies which on the whole complement each other & give humans a guide to understanding self & the good life in general. we all are children of god as was Christ ,he was a greater son ,as were Krishna, Budhha & Nanak & as are others living even today somewhere sacrificing themselves for the glory of truth , Justice & for service to the weak. Even an atheist with morals is a 100 times closer to the Universal spirit than a believer who does not walk the talk. respect all good teachers of the world & follow them, fight the devil within you daily, sacrifice yourself for others, defeat your own ego , love & forgive all, & you will become the dearest child of god.
@namanchaturvedi88976 жыл бұрын
atheists dont have to join any religion to become good or even to follow good teachers like Christ/buddha/Krishna ,they can have morals without being a believer ,they can be spiritual without being religious.

Kanishka kushana no such thing as a good man, & if you think converting is brainwashing by the government you are deceived, I was into all that new age trash thinking you’re into and would tell people Jesus was not the son of man, just a yogi, then he revealed himself to me. Jesus is the only son of god & god in the flesh, read the gospel and obey it, or you will be condemned for your ignorant way of thinking. All you speak is blasphemy and are entertaining demons with all that idol worship.

A beautiful presentation of the gospel in five minutes. A person, recognizing her sin and desperate situation, coming to and falling at the feet of Christ. If you're not overly familiar with an actor or don't know an actor playing Jesus or Holy Mother Mary or Mary Magdalene, then the portrayal is convincing and sincere. However familiarity with an actor often obscures an actor's best efforts. Olivia Hussey exposed her breasts playing Juliet in Romeo and Juliet. So for me, her portrait of Mary, Mother of Jesus was a sacrilege.

That's pretty much one of the best comments I've ever seen brother. In the Old Testament in the book of Genesis, it is said that God walked with Adam. Yet so many people today have trouble believing that Jesus was God incarnate, walking amongst humanity. Especially the people who belong to the major world religion that came after Christianity, most of them despise the idea that Jesus Christ is God and many even kill on the account of stating that. The internet (various websites and esp. KZbin videos) and the Western world (through immigration) is now aflood with them trying to convert people to the idea that Jesus was just another man and a just another great prophet. In order to convert people to their false religion.

May the Lord watch over me. for I have sinned so much. everyday when I wake up, I see the Bible on my nightstand. I should read the Bible when I wake up, but I don't. When I put the Bible away and start somewhere where it cannot be seen, then the Bible suddenly is in my head. No matter how much I try to ignore the Bible or ignore God, I can never truly hide from him. God knows that deep down inside of me, I wants to serve Him, but I am still trying to find my way. God won't leave me alone. and neither will he leave you alone. when I look at science and learn about biology and how the world was created, I end up thinking nothing but how God created the world. When I listen to someone who speaks badly about God, I feel pain in my stomach and at the same time I feel anger towards that person who speaks and mocks the Lord. Sometimes when I hear someone knock the Lord, I want to get up and harm them or yell at them. But then I remember what the Lord said to me once in my dreams or in prayer. The Lord told me to not judge North passed the stone, for he without sin is only to do so. And the Lord also put me to shame for thinking such things about harming others for mocking the Lord when I myself don't even listen to him. I have been ignoring God all my life. But at the same time he has never left me. God is just waiting for me, waiting for me to use Jesus as the doorway, and enter eternal life.

You hit the point directly on its head. GOD alone in the manifestation of CHRIST JESUS our LORD can do all things. She was broken and reached that point, where her sins and lifestyle of sin was causing all her suffering. She realised in faith he was of GOD, because of the deeds he did in his earthly ministry. She knew by kneeling unto him, she will be both cured and purified by GOD.

Just as is said in the first part of the gospel of John "the only begotten of the Father, full of grace And truth " I like how He didn't excuse the sin but forgave her. Fully God and fully man, completely aware of who I am and yet in lovingkindness shows me grace, inspires me to want to be a better man , a purer reflection of who He is !

Amen brother.. I was absolutely humbled when I went to confession a couple of years ago .. I got a rude awakening of how bad a life I was leading.. offensive to God. I'm still a sinner but I fully recognize it now and try very hard not to offend God. The sacrament of Reconciliation is awesome indeed.. thank you Lord for the blessing of absolution.

Bankers' best guesses about the Vatican's wealth put it at $10 billion to$15 billion. Of this wealth, Italian stockholdings alone run to $1.6 billion, 15% of the value of listed shares on the Italian market. The Vatican has big investments in banking, insurance, chemicals, steel, construction, real estate. The Vatican Bank manages $64 billion of assets on behalf of its 17,400 customers, according to a Dec. 5, 2014, article in International Business Times . The bank owns $764 million in equity. The bank keeps gold reserves worth over $20 million with the U.S. Federal Reserve.Jul 24, 2015 No one outside the Vatican really knows, precisely. But it almost certainly has wealth that would rival that of many national governments. Last year, The Economist calculated that the Catholic church in America alone had a $170 billion annual operating budget.Nov 7, 2013 And you're also behind America being flooded with immigrants South of the Border Sure sport. -you're in the Soul Saving business

1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. Luke 18:19 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God. Mark 10:18 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God. Matthew 19:17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. During our conversion process we must keep the Commandments, and we know we are not perfect. Example of the need of faith in GOD in order to enter into the kingdom of GOD; Mark 10:25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. 26 And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved? 27 And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible. "With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible."

Chapter 17 Go and sin no more “Go and sin no more” is the gospel of the sinless perfectionist. We have already seen that this is not the gospel. We know that the gospel is declared in 1 Cor 15:1-4. What, then, are we supposed to get from this phrase? What was Jesus trying to tell us? Most people pull this phrase from the woman caught in adultery. “When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, ‘Woman, where are those thine accusers? Hath no man condemned thee?’ She said, ‘No man, Lord.’ And Jesus said unto her, ‘Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more’” (John 8:10,11). Jesus did say these words. It is undeniable. It is in the Bible. However, not to be disrespectful to the Lord, I have to ask the million dollar question: go and sin no more… or what will happen? Every saved person sinned after they were saved (one could argue the thief on the cross, we will call that semantics). Peter denied Jesus and didn’t uphold the gospel AFTER salvation (Gal 2:11-14). Paul couldn’t stop all his sinning (Rom 7:15-25) and he was already saved. The carnal people at Corinth were sinning all over the place and they were saved (1 Cor 3:1-3). The answer to the million dollar question is given by Jesus himself. What most people miss is that Jesus said this to another person, another whom He healed. “Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, ‘Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee’” (John 5: 14). There we have our answer to the question. The answer is, “lest something worse thing come upon thee”. Jesus is telling us that sin does have its consequences. The Bible is clear on this. Some of these consequences include: - Loss of joy (Psalm 51:12) - Loss of rewards at the Judgment Seat of Christ (1 Cor 3:10-15) - Being called least in the Kingdom (matt 5:19) - Being ashamed at His appearing (1 John 2:28) - Being a vessel of DIS-honor (2 Tim 2:20-21) - Satan could have access to your flesh (1 Cor 5:5) - Being disciplined by God (Heb 12:5-6) - Having your physical life taken early (Acts 5: 1-11) - Be made sick by God (1 Cor 11:30-32) How about consequences from the law here on earth? This applies to the woman caught in adultery. Jesus told her “go and sin no more”. Why did He say this? Lest something worse would happen unto her. In those days, the law stated that one would be stoned if caught in adultery. If she committed that sin again, she could actually be stoned. This is much worse than having Jesus save her from not being stoned. Jesus NEVER said… - Go and sin no more or you can’t go to heaven - Go and sin no more or you will lose your salvation - Go and sin no more or you will be cast out Don’t let religion tell you these things. They are simply not true. What Jesus said was, “Go and sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.”

Nastia 1 Friend, I will pray that Gods will be done. IF God chooses to let him live, there will be a reason for this; whatever it may be. I will pray that this man has heard or will hear the gospel and has/will believe it - FOR 70 years is nothing compared to an eternity. - In fact, if he will talk to me - i would consider flying to his cell and having a talk with him about the gospel. I am personally against the death penalty (although the OT supports it). I do have a concern for YOU. I did click on your name and read through a couple of comments. you said - one will go to hell if they dont forgive others. FRIEND - this is not a correct statement. Once someone has believed the gospel, they can never go to hell. - That passage in Matt - is about temporal forgiveness and not eternal forgiveness. IF you must forgive others to go to heaven then salvation is by "works". The bible is CLEAR, salvation is not of works. SO, have YOU understood salvation from hell-----THE GOSPEL? IF i asked you what the gospel is....would you be able to tell me??? with respect,

"Every saved person sinned after they were saved." If one sins no more, and stops the Sin - In this case Adultery, there is no more sin afterwards. As far as sinning afterwards, what kind of sins are we talking about? Obey the Ten Commandments - No more Sin. The Thief on the Cross. He was always a Sinner and a slave of Sin. The Thief believed in Jesus, he said, "Remember me when you come into your Kingdom"..Jesus says, "Today, you will be with me in Paradise".. Jesus forgave people on the spot. And all Sin erased. Because he was given this power by God above..Jesus Christ is our mediator. Our King in Heaven. Ultimately, it is Original Sin that Jesus Christ corrected. His blood was different due to a Virgin Birth. A birth of a Heavenly origin..His Blood is the key to our Saving and starting fresh and New..Re-born into Heaven like a child..Free from Karmic Sin of this world..

Im confused. He is son of God and God too? When the Sanhedrin asked him if he was the son of God, why didn't he tell them that he is GOD? He also calls someone father. Who is he calling father? Himself? And why the bible says Jesus Christ is at the "right hand of God" if he is God. I know Im missing something. Everybody understands but me. Im trying my best to accept this but I can't intetpret the bible in this way 😞

ZeeshanKhan,THERE ARE THREE,since the beginning of time,FATHER,SON,AND THE HOLY GHOST, when JESUS[born of woman] came to earth in human form,he was sent,to be a sacrifice for many,he would've came [no matter what] just for you,but he came for all of mankind, ever since the garden, the three has wanted a relationship with man,CORRECTLY,without sin,JESUS was the lamb of god the FATHER for the remission of sin, period.HE CONQUERED,DEATH,HELL AND THE GRAVE,supposedly while in his grave, nonsense, death has no hold on the son of god,he did all of this to appease his father, and that's the truth of it,he is truth and the life

So many people here quote Jesus' remark "Go and sin no more." But how many go off and keep sinning? The word sin means: to miss the mark. It's like shooting an arrow at a target. How many people here have read the Bible, and seen God's commands in plain writing to "do this", and yet fail to do accordingly, or "don't do that", and yet they go off and do those things anyway. People who know what is right, and yet do what is wrong anyway, are like the words of Jude verse 4: "ungodly men who turn the undeserved kindness of our God into an excuse for brazen conduct and who prove false to our only owner and Lord, Jesus Christ." Yes God is forgiving; but he also says "I am a God exacting exclusive devotion", and "if you abandon me, I will abandon you"-God never retracted those words, and the entire nation of Israel was rejected IN JESUS' DAY for failing to live by God's standards. Jesus said that it would be many of the people who claim they believe in him, whom he would later reject, because they ignore God's commands-he said: "Many will say to me in that day: ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and expel demons in your name, and perform many powerful works in your name?’ And then I will declare to them: ‘I never knew you! Get away from me, you workers of lawlessness!’" Saying "I believe" and "He is my Lord" is clearly not enough for Jesus. For he also said "These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far removed from me." The point is, Jesus word to this harlot to "go and sin no more" was an indication that if she were to continue in her old sinful practices, the forgiveness Jesus gave to her, would be removed. Repentence involves more than simply saying "I'm sorry, please forgive me." Petitioning him for his forgiveness is the lesser part of forgiveness. The greater part of it involves feeling true remorse, and ceasing to commit that sin again. If we read the Greek Scriptures (New Testament), we should be able to make a basic list of a) things we are commanded to do, and b) things that God forbids. If we do this simple thing, we can weigh our place with God by how we measure up to that list. If we are ignoring things on that list, because it does't jive with our lifestyle, then we have placed our own [right]eousness over God's [right]eousness, and we will not be in his kingdom. (Read 1 Cor. 6:9-11 and Micah 6:8) Let us not fool ourselves, as some do, imagining we are "saved once for time" for all our sins to come, by making some declaration of words. (Read 1 Sam. 15:22 and Prov. 15:8) Paul himself did not consider himself saved once for all time. He said, “I pummel my body and lead it as a slave, so that after I have preached to others, I myself should not become disapproved somehow.” (1 Corinthians 9:27) The Greek word for "disapproved" Paul used there means "disqualified." Yes, the saint, Paul, believed and taught that IF he did not stay clean, he could lose his God's approval, and miss out on the kingdom of God. So people saying "I'm saved" are not reading the scriptures - or rather they are conveniently believing what they want, to make themselves feel there is no way to lose God's approval-and as a result, they sin many times, telling themselves "That's OK, I'm saved." But it doesn't work that way with God. Now "Go and sin no more." But first one needs to learn God's requirements, what is good, and what is bad, in [HIS] sight. Read the gospels and make your list, and follow each point. Failure to do so results in disqualification. Hurry now! Time is short. -Rx

"And do not become fearful of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; rather, fear him who can destroy both soul and body in Ge·henʹna." -Mt. 10:28 It doesn't matter what men do to us, because God is the one who can both judge, and resurrect those who have died. If men judge us, the judgement is temporary. Even the apostle Paul was judge by Rome and put to death-so too was Jesus-both men were innocent. We can expect no better. Right? :)
