Curious technical fact, the A321 Neo has a different flare law from all the other models in the A320 family. It freezes the horizontal stabilizers attitude at 100ft reducing drastically the ability of the pilot for last second corrections. The intention is to avoid tailstrikes and nosewheel-first touchdowns. As a pilot I can tell you it absolutely sucks to feel the aircraft sinking at times without not much you can do about it… every now and then a hard slam is unavoidable. If you’re interested in statistics the A321neo in general has a far higher number of hard landings compared to all the other models
