What a wonderful look back in time. The biggest surprise was hearing that the 308 only made 250 HP. That is pale by modern standards.

Italians (which is my heritage) do a lot of things great, but cars aren't one of them. Italian cars while very stylish and sporty are finnicky and fickle. You're much better off with a Japanese vehicle which has the reliability and arguably just as good of style. It was indeed an interesting tour back in time.

Time adjusted inflation, you have to take wages into account, 60K then was about as hard to obtain as 200k is today, thereabouts, greetings
