Go Bag Review - Motorola XTS3000 and Baofeng UV5R Two way Radios

Reviewing my Go Bag that I haven't checked on in a while. Shame on me. Go Bag (GOB) or Get Out Bag is a survival kit that is encouraged by DHS. You should have a least 72 hours worth of food and water. Consider your environment when putting one together that will get you home. Food should be non-perishable, and water should be stored in a non-plastic bottle.

Ham radio is super useful uv5r is a good starter issue is the front end overload. The Yaesu ft-65R is way better starter. Learning to use ham radio is so much better because both radio can program GMRS only transmit in emergencies on GMRS. Ham bands are legal only if you are licensed and have call sign. Great video just remember to program radio for most used repeaters and EMS and emergency crew in the area your going as well make a card with the frequency you operate. And set one of those Channels to that as a watch channel other then that great job keep it up

Thanks. I actually have a notepad in my bag with frequencies with not local ham stations and repeaters, but nearby counties and states 🤙 I'll eventually get a better ham radio but learned that the valley hear is big on GMRS and we have a ton of repeaters. Thanks for watching 🤙
