Hello from Prague, CZ. I was spending a night in Hotel Ještěd in May 2024. I can recomend you for the next time the room in lower floor, where are rooms with own faucilities and with modern design (but even the original retro design from 70´s is nice). I payed 5680 Crowns (226€)) for one night, but the experience and comfort and privacy is definately worth of it. Nobody will judge you if you spend 45 minutes in shower.🙂

Thank you, yes we did see those rooms which looked very nice. Unfortunately none were available for the dates we were going, but we did get to spend two nights at Ještěd which we can thoroughly recommend to really soak in the atmosphere of this incredible place 🙂Next time we shall definitely look for the superior rooms 😉

Dear Joy, on entering your room the look on your face, PRICELESS! What a view with sunset, A piece of old communist era. The breakfast did not look crush-hot, not much to rave about. Joy, beautiful girl, you look kind of disappointed as if you were out of your comfort zone. Well, it is only for very short time and think of the experience. I salute you for surviving it all.

Dear Maya, Thank you for your message. Once I got my head around the facilities and Mark is so wonderful to have booked such a place 🥰 To think it's such a monument. The history of the building, such fantastic views, with an architectural wow factor and ofcourse a once in a lifetime experience. We both really enjoyed the experience 😊 100's of people visited everyday. The breakfast selection was good. However not very hot.

We always look at the Country, it's history/uniqueness, what it has to offer, then research hotels, Airbnb, Secret Escapes etc.,✨✨✨
