I really did enjoy this remake and I think it’s better than the original movie and I love Paige Turco in this movie she is so hot as hell and she was my biggest crush back in 2009 and I was a freshman in high school when this movie came out and can’t believe it been 13 years now and time sure does flies that’s for sure

That's the part that weirds me out. It's a remake, but the way it's played out implies he's done this many times, you you could guess this to be a sequel as well. And while that could be farfetched bare in mind the original Stepfather has survived wounds that should be fatal. So him doing his thing for decades isn't that out of the ordinary for this franchise.
