I have called twice and ask for Parts Catalogue for a 9 Horse Honda Go Devil and both times they wanted the Serial Number off my unit before they would help me. There is not serial number on the unit. So I am Aggravated to the point of just replacing the Go Devil with a comparable Backwater Kit. Customer Service at Go Devil and thier do nothing website is awful BUT, Go Devil IS the best Backwater salesmen ever! Bye Bye Go Devil!

Coco is just like that he only wonts to sale parts for his frames and motors but if u look on the frame where the bolt goes through the main plate to pivot plate and the transom mount right under your J-Joints there’s going to be a number stamped on it right there is your frame number they or asking for hope u get what u looking for

Go-Devil is like that I have a long Tail and needed a Kill switch and Throttle cable they wanted the Serial numbers also . Sent a Kill Switch not like the one on motor for $ 20.00 the same switch that I bought at a local Fishing store for $ 14.00 for my Copper Head Surface Drive still bought the Throttle cable also .

Coco provides superior customer service in my opinion. My advice would be for you to use your local GD dealers to get replacement parts and services done. Remember they are manufactoring these and local dealers are for the sales, service, etc.

Trim is good for digging deep when you get stuck.. lot better and quicker than no trim

I have searched the internet high and low.... including Vanguards sights. Can anyone please tell me at what RPM this motor is rated at 40 HP and even more importantly at what RPM the maximum torque is produced ?????? Thank you .

High 4000's on rpms on the stock 3 blade its about maxed from what i could tell. These change depending on angle in water and blade style and degrees.

I have the Long Tail I wish Mr. Coco would come up with a Different Throttle for the Long Tail instead of the Lawn Mower style if you fall over while at full throttle the boat is gone if it doesn`t come back and run you over . At least with a Squeeze Throttle the motor will return to Idle speed . As a Mechanic Kill Switch are Electrical they can go bad even if you are wearing it .
