Go Far, Go East | Flyfishing in one of the most remote fly fishing destinations

Kopi river is located at the remote land of the Russian Far East, with population of only 10 people. Yet this undiscovered wilderness has long been attracting adventurous fishing enthusiasts from China, USA and Japan.
In May 2023, we embarked on a journey for the precious species of fish - Taimen. But this was just a goal. It’s the process of this adventure that made it unforgettable and dreamlike.
It was a once in a lifetime experience, living together with the Russian hermit hunter fishermen whose life depended on the forest and water.
