Puts me in mind of a dog on a polished tile floor! At least it doesn't sprawl! But you still don't have any traction! Great for burnouts though!
@TheShadeTreeFixitManАй бұрын
I'm not worried about traction and I got rid of the live axle because it was scuffing too much on turns. Remember, this has 15" wheel/tires on the back and not little 8" slicks. It's more fun to spin the tires anyway and that's only on the dirt. Thanks for stopping by.

You need to put some positive traction on that both wheels in the back need to spin. Then you can drive in the grass and stone a lot easier without spinning.
@TheShadeTreeFixitManАй бұрын
I built it with both wheels driving originally, but it scuffs too much going around corners with the big tires on the back. What I would like to have is a limited slip rear axle, but they are very expensive. Thanks for stopping by

Well, you need to get up to date. I have put a twin cylinder, 18hp engine in it with dual carburetors, dual exhaust, modified timing and more! Quality construction and nice paint but a failure on the engineering.
@TheShadeTreeFixitMan2 күн бұрын
Failure? In what way and by what standard? What are you comparing it too? It is a work in progress and a proof of engineering. I have built it the way it is using what I have had available, and demonstrating the possibilities of doing things without expensive equipment. Please share with me why you think the engineering is a failure? I'd be curious to know. Have you built one that works better, using all the same components? Even "professionally built" cars break, so that can't be a criteria, can it? Thanks for your input. Please do share why you think it is a failure.
