I'm sure you're a very nice person but wow that video was excruciating to watch. It took forever to back it out of the shed and then you couldn't get it to move across the yard after struggling mightily just to get in it. And I'm 63 with a store bought hip and knee with 5 vertebrae fused. It either quit or was spinning for goodness sakes.

I'm not worried about traction and I got rid of the live axle because it was scuffing too much on turns. Remember, this has 15" wheel/tires on the back and not little 8" slicks. It's more fun to spin the tires anyway and that's only on the dirt. Thanks for stopping by.

Well, you need to get up to date. I have put a twin cylinder, 18hp engine in it with dual carburetors, dual exhaust, modified timing and more! I originally had a live axle in the Goofy Cart, but with the large rear wheels it was hard to turn because the wheels/tires would scuff in the back. I split the axle and it works much better. Quality construction and nice paint but a failure on the engineering.
@TheShadeTreeFixitMan
@TheShadeTreeFixitMan 2 күн бұрын
Failure? In what way and by what standard? What are you comparing it too? It is a work in progress and a proof of engineering. I have built it the way it is using what I have had available, and demonstrating the possibilities of doing things without expensive equipment. Please share with me why you think the engineering is a failure? I'd be curious to know. Have you built one that works better, using all the same components? Even "professionally built" cars break, so that can't be a criteria, can it? Thanks for your input. Please do share why you think it is a failure.
