The voice of Col. Kit Coyote is done by Kenny Delmar who was the announcer of the Fred Allen Show in the 1930s and 40s . Delmar also payed the character Senator Claghorn on the show. On the Total Television cartoons which GO GO GOPHERS was a part of, Delmar was also the voice behind the Hunter, Savoir Fair, and Commander McBragg.

Thanks for the information about Delmar. I knew he was the Hunter,Colonel Coyote and Commander McBragg but I didn't know he was Savoir Fair. (Mom liked the line,"Savoir Fair is everywhere."She'd taken French in High School.!)

Brian Sedlock I sure have heard of the Fred Allen Show on the radio. It was before my time, but my father was a listener and he knew of characters like Senator Claghorn and Titus Moody. (He also liked the King Leonardo show.)

Comedian Jack Benny, who had often appeared his own show as a guest star would get into friendly spats with Fred Allen. Have you heard of Jack Benny? He had his own radio and television show. Do you remember Tennessee Tuxedo and his pal Chumley? They were penguin and a walrus.

Brian, I remember all Total/Leonardo Television productions. I remember Tennessee Tuxedo(Don Adams)and Chumley(Bradley Bolke) and other shows such as Underdog and The Beagles.(I wish there'd be more Beagles shows on this site.)I remember Jack Benny very well and have read that switched from radio to television in 1950.
