I contacted this company for advise on an ebike battery that works intermittently. They were very courteous, helpful and replied very quickly (back-and-forth several times). Two thumbs-up! 🙌

Recently had Kevin build a 72V battery using high amp cells for a beast of a bike. The project went exactly as he said with some massive power output. I am also very jealous of how neat and organized his shop always looks.

I salute those folks. I built my 36v battery for my trike 13 years ago. Electric bikes have been around for a long time. I ride mine everyday to get around the ranch. I love he new Trikes!

This company looks to be a great asset to the ebike community. I am glad to have it local to us. Maybe Kevin will join a group ride.

Very interesting video ! Alot of the points that were touched on in the video i did not even think about . Especially the onne about charging the battery and letting it sit . Like in the winter time , there is no way in hell i am gonna ride in 25 degree weather . Time for upgrades....lol

I eventually want to do a dual battery conversion on one of my e-bikes. Perhaps I will tap them for some battery recommendations.

Oh very nice.. I wonder how much my Kepler battery would be to get all new cells if the BMS is ok? Maybe even use a higher grade cell.. Not sure if they are worth upgrading.. I think a brand new battery for a Kepler is between $450-$525 online.

Don't know if I wasn't paying attention, but I wish you had addressed safety issues such as fires. Just to put people at ease. We, ebike owners, more or less know how to handle our batteries. A lot of people who do not own ebikes will not get one due to the media portraying these batteries fire hazards.

I need some place like this in Brooklyn besides those Asian ebike shop owners that don't speak English , and their horrible customer service.

I have a couple cells that have a very low charge. (Stupid me before seeing this video) took the china battery out that was hot glued in the sleeve. Most of the wires are hot glued. I tried removing the nickel strips and it looks like the 4th of July in my apartment. There's no way to safely remove the discharge wire unless I cut it off without electrocuting myself. Can one of your guys travel to Massachusetts and help me? I'm in Amherst.

I'd be curious to know how many AH he could get out of a modified Lectric 10.4 AH factory battery?
@jamesharrison71142 жыл бұрын
That would be good to know, especially if you could get maybe 16 or 17ah for the price of the 14ah pack.
@ChrisCrossed2 жыл бұрын
He thinks he might be able to squeeze 15 Ah in the pack

Hello i have a freego hawk it was re-celled with boston cells upgraded to 16ah around 2 years ago recently due to the cold weather it is dropping a bar on the power meter is this a normal thing for this time of year?
@ChrisCrossed2 жыл бұрын
You will get a loss of range in colder weather, how much so I cannot say.
@kurtismckemmie4850 Жыл бұрын
Yes that is very normal on very cold days. My bike does that too.
