Sections of Tubing welded on the cart with a hing pin is a strong way to join the sections basically making the cart a hing.

Yes a hinge is the goal! I'm giving the students ideas and guidance but ultimately they will do the final designs as part of their learning process. Thanks for watching and I hope you get to see the rest of our build

looking good and very interesting workshop Me being me and looking at stuff differently... I would go front axle as the drive axle (seeing electric motors work the same way forward and as well as backward) and go with a single wheel at the back or if you want over build a continuous track!
