Go Pod 2024 model review - from £18,995 to £22,995 as per our test model

We owned a 2015 model from new. We considered it good value for money then, £10.5k including extras. (£10.5k adjusted for inflation from 2015 to now would be £14k). At nigh on £23k for 2024 this is competing against mainstream caravans and seems to us a tad expensive. Horse for courses I suppose but we would not buy at this kind of price.

Find another tourer like it and there isnt really a class of its own niche market - interesting what ypu say

Thanks for breaking this done - the mark up above inflation on the 2015 price of an extra £9k is indefensible and, as you say, there are other vans offering much more for that money.

its designed for that person who wants a micro tourer and the price aint cheap but its unique and thats part of the high price to pay sadly - thanks for comments

They should put the fridge under the hob on the other side and lose that little bit of storage and counter space and look to make a self contained toilet/shower space with fold down sink on that side, to make it contain all the facilities, surely most people would prefer losing storage and leaving more items in their car. Plus at this 2024 price you would expect a bathroom. Nice little caravan though

These are too small for me, i,ve seen quite a few on our caravan site with motor movers on 🙈 i can see the appeal for some people but not for me 😊😊

Is this a problem? Honest question.... I have arthritis in my shoulders and neck so might struggle moving something heavy and would be reluctant to take a risk for my own safety and the safety of others. Just asking as I am considering buying one of these and my driveway is tight and on an incline..

Couldbe the answer for you and many - I think these are great little tourers a small pop top with GRP shell and in a class of there own new ones are better with small lockers etc go check one out and please mention the channel ask for Chris he is very good on go pods!

@@janwilson5627 I own a 2018 model, great if you are single, a bit tight for two, easy to tow you can actually forget you are towing, no requirement for extension mirrors and perfect for the impulse trip, I carry my mountain e-bike in it which is perfect for my trips around Scotland, as for moving it I am close to 70 and have the usual aches and pains, if on the flat tarmac its easy but on caravan sites which are usually gravel much harder so invested in a motor mover, if you do get one then a mover is a big advantage making it far easier to move in tight spaces etc.
