Anyone know if you can take this camera on an airplane when traveling?On the package it came with when it was shipped it says,(Ground only) contains lithium ion batteries forbidden for transport aboard passenger aircraft. and how the package must be handle with care that a flammability hazard exists if the package is damaged.

Just bought the silver. I’ll be taking it on a hiking and swimming trip. I don’t do much sports activities so I will have to decide if it’s worth keeping. I did my last vacation with my iPhone and it recorded fine. But this trip maybe more walking and snorkeling. We’ll see. The go pro came with very little instructions so thanks for the Instructional review. 👍🏿

I found it not to be as user friendly as i thought it would be. the controls are too tiny, it did not give me the level of spontaneity i can get with my iPhone. but to be fair i use my iPhone ever day. its become like my right hand. Maybe i needed to devote more time with it but i just never felt comfortable using it.

When you say “GoPro start recording” does the camera beeps once. And when yo say “GoPro stop recording “. Beeps twice?

Do you know how to use the GoPro Hero 7 Silver as a Webcam? The GoPro itself does not have the “Input/Output” setting and the updates haven’t changed anything.

Ogre Dad I’m guessing you already know by now but if you look up vlogging with a gopro there is this guy with a beard that has a video on how to add an external mic. Also I do not think that you can change the name. I have the hero 5 black and don’t know how I would suggest looking it up since that is how I pretty much find everything😂. Hopefully you found this helpful!

Hi Mac --- I watched your review primarily to hear if you had an opinion about the "battery life & performance" of this camera. ... I read some reviews that said #1: camera kept "freezing" and #2: battery only sustained 18% charge after four hours of charging ... what is your opinion about the battery life and performace of this small camera - thanks so much for sharing this - hope you are able to respond - cheers

I had absolutely no issues whatsoever with the cameras battery life. I was never shooting for hours on end but it always lasted me for whatever length of time I was using it to capture.

Your vastly farther ahead to order a factory referb GoPro Hero 2018. I purchased one for $75 and upgraded the firmware to the GoPro Hero 5 Black and have a vastly more capable camera with all the resolutions and frame rates and features of the flagship camera, replaceable lens on the front and removable battery. The GoPro Hero 7 White and Silver are trash and no firmware upgrades will ever fix them.

@@chefdehumanitarian9236 Hero 5 Black. Much more capable. The six's are rock solid too, and if ya can find a super cool deal the Hero 7 Black. The 7 silver was a poorly thought-out marketing strategy. Just like the Hero 2018. Happens though with a firmware upgrade... The Hero 2018 can be a Hero 5 Black. I've got one.

Nice video I think that is a good camera but a lot of people mistake on how to use it. Like they will buy it for vlogging and in reality it is mostly made for action like u can take ur 5 million mega pixel vlogging camera on a jet ski so that's what this gopro is meant for

I bought the Akaso brave 4. it worked once. I sent it back , got a refund from Amazon. All I want to video POV my motorcycle rides, GSXR600, across Lake Washington ( Seattle) on the floating bride, I-90 east...through some tunnels etc. I am going with this little guy.. Akaso ?. weak build quality..For 80 bucks, meh... . 199 for this guy on Amazon.
