Man, bathtubs in Japan are on an entirely different level! 😌 When I lived there for a year as a student, in my flat I had the typical Japanese bath that is deep, but not very long. But it was soooo good for soaking and relaxing after a shower. Asuka's right - baths are so important for relaxing and relieving stress: especially for her, I bet!

We tend to work differently in the states. We measure first, then figure out design and everything else. Most household tubs are very standard sizes just the design and fixtures make it better. Commercial tubs are usually made for spas and pools hence they have to be custom made but the design can be changed if you like. It’s just all fiberglass and acrylic anyway. You also have to figure out tile as that’s separate and don’t forget the shower wand and facet.

I have never thought about creating a bathtub but then again I have never had a house made for me.... the bathtubs just came with the house and luckily (or unluckily) I have never broken a tub yet.... I like the slide out tub myself....if I were to pick one....
