I can’t get over how clean everything looks. You have a beautiful park to enjoy the autumn colours. I think the biggest misconception people have of Russia is that it’s old and not modern in comparison to the West. It really looks beautiful and you have all the same conveniences we have in the western part of the world.
@ЛизаХ-л2г3 жыл бұрын
I'll tell you a secret that Russia has long overtaken the West in technology)) For example, recently in Moscow, at all stations, a fare payment for the face was earned, - 2 seconds and go to the metro. The tax system in Russia is the most convenient and modern! I am already silent about cheap and high-speed Internet, good cellular communication and luxurious public transport in Moscow and St. Petersburg.

Yes, I think it's worldwide some people dont like being filmed. Sometimes other youtubers blur strangers' faces in their final edited videos/vlogs, you might want to consider to do that as well. I don't know if they get bothered about someone filming just in the vicinity, so long as the camera isn't pointed at them. Even then in a lot of places the general mindset is tough, expectation of privacy is reduced in general public.

I don’t know why I’m watching this, because I am Russian too and live here. I had to visit the post office several times, it was a long time ago and since then I have been trying to avoid such stress. By the way, I have a version why some people in the post office were annoyed. A space like that, even being modernized, pulls out all the negative from the subconscious. The same thing happens in clinics, pharmacies and other social facilities. The collective memory of the long, dreary hours of waiting in a line that doesn't seem to move... Well, thank you for the video and for giving me a reason to practice my English))) Beautiful quiet autumn, I really enjoyed this walk. Best wishes from St. Petersburg.

In the UK, Post Offices started selling related stationery items, Many smaller P-Os now share premises with convenience stores but are separate cash-desks. The on-line facilities seem similar, offering pay on-line and drop off at P-O. It is usually a bit cheaper paying that way so it looks like the company want the customers to do some of the work so that they can cut P-O staff jobs. Its best to be discreet when filming and turn camera downwards when people are in shot. Some people get very annoyed and can turn violent.

That was fascinating. Over the years in Australia, the Post Office began selling some electronic equipment and office supplies. They also sell some children's toys, and lots of gift items like pens, keychains, fancy notebooks, fancy cups, fridge magnets, and a variety of other gift items. They never stock food items. I found that part of yours fascinating, and I imagine if someone is in a hurry, they could grab a few groceries there in the one trip. Handy for the elderly, maybe? I wonder if they are more expensive than in grocery stores? The town looks so pretty! Australian trees are evergreens, so we don't have that autumn colour, which is beautiful. In some places where foreign trees are in abundance you can see it on a small scale. What were those little birds? They are beautiful! That splash of blue on the wing was delightful. I had a friend who went to Russia with a group and loved it there. He returned a number of times, and married a Russian woman and brought her and her daughter back to Australia. I'm sure it was a bit of a culture shock to her. I never got to meet her as I had already moved away, but he told me she was amazing and loved her so much. Great video. Seeing daily life is so interesting.
@Anne-id2zt3 жыл бұрын
The bird with blue spot on the wing is a jay. From their German name (Eichelhäher) you can hear that they collect acorns and hide them for the winter (I think). They have a great memory but occasionaly they forget a spot or are unable to eat the acorn (death, ...) resulting in the acorns growing into trees. Oak tress really need the light so they benefit from being hidden in a relatively open enviroment. Anyway the jay is related to ravens and the magpie but I think it's the most beautiful one. They make a "jay"-sound, hence the name.

Btw, you can find it in Europe, North Africa and then in a belt across Turkey, China to Indonesia.

Not fascinating! The Post Office a very traditional establishment overall. A historical function for modern society with symbols: in England (red, black) in Germany (yellow) and own symbol the post horn. Not a Turkish basar!

@@trailerparksupervisor7046 wow that's kind of a rude response! I'm also Australian and I haven't seen food in any of our local post offices either.
