I live right around the crossing in this video and I loved the horn. I miss it actually. It's all those damn old people living in that retirement village who complained all the time!

Well, shoot, maybe the horn gave a few of them a heart attack or something, y'know, might have thinned out the herd a bit. I say it's nature in action...

@torontomapleleafer I COMPLETELY 110% AGREE WITH YOU!!!!! I sent in an opinion piece to the Advance about how the tracks have been there since the mid 80's. People bought a house in the area of train tracks, when the tracks were there BEFORE the humans were...... So i think the people dont like the noise, they should MOVE!!!! Dumb idiots who live close to the crossings cant do anything but complain.

The no whistle blow bylaw people fucking PISS ME OFF! Barrie knew since the late 90, early 2000's that the trains would again one day come back to Barrie. Even BEFORE all these houses were built in the south end. And they STILL bought the house knowing that information. So, all you people don't be bitching to me about the damn train horns when you know damn well that the trains would be back and you bought a house that lives near the tracks. /ends rant Excuse my language, they REALLY annoy me
