It seems like a test as much as anything. In my experience they love it when I say 'No'.

Coach, this is kind of a long story so I'll try to make it as short as possible, because it begins with my childhood. Coach, growing up with a single mom who was OCD and was a clean freak but hated cleaning (I know, it's a lot, I know) she'd especially hate having to clean the toilet every day instead of every other day, as normal, so she taught me to sit down when I pee. When I grew up and became an adult (18 years and 1 days old) I questioned if this was a good way to raise a son, and I decided that it didn't matter lol, like who cares. Fast forwarding thousands of hours and days forward, I met a woman I really liked and 3 months into our relationship she moved in, Coach, she moved in. So one day a few weeks after she moved in coach, I went to pee. To pee I went, Coach, to pee. I wish I haven't done this Coach, in hindsight, Coach, I wish I didn't. I forgot to close the door like a real masculine gentleman would and she saw me urinating not in a standing position, Coach, but in a sitting. In a sitting position, Coach, and this is where my life changed. As I exited the interior of the bathroom, I already felt like the energy in my apartment has changed. Something felt unease and tense, as if the natural state of our environment has been compromised. As I walked through the hallway (about 15 yards long) toward the kitchen, as I felt an urge for sustenance, I glanced to the left into our office room and saw that my gf was sitting with her arms crossed and looking on at me with disdain. With disdain, Coach. I found the courage to nervously say, "What's the matter, honey? Can I offer you a snack of multiple variety, I have carrots, pickles, M&Ms, and even pickled onions and some lettuce grown outside of California, and pretzels and chee...." "Just stop!" she yelled, Coach. She yelled at me like she was the master of the house. She said my variety of snacks and healthy foods was impressive but it wasn't impressive enough to keep her attraction unwavering. Not wavering, Coach, it had wavered. You see, she continued to sit me down, she sat me down in my own house, Coach, you see, and she said that she can't respect ANY man, even the masculinest of the most masculine, who sits down while he urinates. I told her the story of my single mother during early childhood and how she struggled through so many various challenges but continued through and didn't give up, taught me how to pee sitting down, and she perserved. She broke out of the grips of poverty and became an ANRP, Coach, ANRP. An ANRP, Coach, is someone who could have been a doctor if they had more money or a wealthier family, Coach, a wealthier one. Anyways, throughout this time, I had no choice but to sit down to pee in order not to put any more undue stress on my mother, which may have caused a complete breakdown of events, including her failing her college education while working 16 hours. I couldn't have risked it, Coach, could I? And so I explained all of this to my gf and said that as an adult I've thought about it thoroughly and have decided that I actually prefer to sit while urinating because it's more comfortable and less splash. "That way," I told her with a smile on my face," you'll have less to clean when you're cleaning the toilets for us," I quipped while projecting masculine confidence and a "king of the house" attitude, you see? You see, Coach, I did the thing, the masculine thing where I project I am the man at my own house, see how I did that? Haha. So she responded, "I never clean our toilets anyway, you do, loser." Ouch. Then, she continued on rambling about how maybe this is a sign that I've never let go of my mom's influence and she said that maybe when I reasoned through the questions of if I prefer sitting or standing while doing the deed, or if it's my mother who actually prefers sitting or is it actually me now, the real me, and not some projection of another human being who raised another who has made the decision? She said she'll give me 3 weeks to figure out which one it is, and she'll call me back to ask my what I've decided. She packed her bags, walked to the front door (sometimes she wants us to go in and out the back some days we get drunk, like Monopoly Monday), gave me one final look of disappointment and disdain, shook her head, said "ay, ay, ay" and left without stopping a single time to look back. Not a single time, Coach, not a single one. Coach, I started peeing standing up the next day, and called her to let her know. I've sent 2 emails and 3.5 text messages (one failed to send halfway through) and now I've distanced myself, like you teach, and been waiting for her to come back in 3 weeks, like she said. It's been 2 months, Coach, and it's no call, no show. Is it time for me to move on or should I email her one last time? I'm worried I began standing up to pee all for nothing, and I found the old way more comfortable, but now when I try to do it again it's now uncomfortable and so is standing up, and now I'll always attach this unusual breakup to the act of peeing. I could be having a good day, Coach, but when I go pee I remember her looking at me in disappointment and shaking her head, and my day is ruined. So do women like dogs, Coach? If I get a dog and potty train it, do you think my ex will come back? Any thoughts?

If a man has the life he wants then he won’t move for a woman - since he already has everything. If the guy doesn’t have anything he’ll move and then he won’t have any base for his life anyway

But if you already have everything that you want, why even pick up the phone and talk to her in the first place? Why even make the effort to go see her in any capacity if you already have everything? Why not just not talk to her at all? Why not just delete her number, change your phone number, and tell your friend to tell her that you are no longer interested in continuing any kind of contact and that you're ready to get the law involved even if she tries? Or why pretend you have everything when you don't? What does that even mean, to have everything; is that even possible? Nobody can have everything that they want, because even if it was feasibly possible, you wouldn't have time to do all the fun things you want to do. Checkmate, dating gurus.

I know two guys who did this once and a guy who did it too two times in the same month. Then their adopted brother, he was about to do it but he changed his mind last minute. Now that's what you call progress: learning from other people's mistakes so that you have more room for original more fun mistakes.

I've seen this happen in my life as well. One guy was ENGAGED and his fiancee called things off AFTER he transferred his job from Las Vegas to San Francisco (despite not wanting to move there). Another friend moved to Texas chasing his girlfriend who worked for the same company and the break-up was within a few months. Allegedly she was bitter over things and she got him charged with sexual harassment. 😬 I had two girlfriends that wanted to move out of state. I stood my ground on both of them and it was a good thing I did. The relationship ended with both of them when one was trying to talk about marriage (although I ended this one) and the other was talking about moving in together (she ended that one). I remember being thankful that I never left cuz I would've had to start all over in my business as a martial art school owner.

@@sifublack192 Not on Game of Thrones. SIbling rivalry made Game of Thrones the peak of what it once was; an amazingly-dramatic, action-packed, attention-grabbing show of the century, with a most deflating cliche ending ever. But since real life isn't Game of Thrones, I have seen couples who don't "compete" in their relationship, dating or married. You don't see that often though. I wonder what they did right that they get to enjoy a loving relationship with a reasonable partner while the rest of us get to experience the warzone version? Lmao

@@Wisdomwed I've never watched Game of Thrones, however I can say that moving for any woman aside from wanting to better your career is a mistake. The people who do well likely did their ground on who they are and kept their values intact.

@sifublack192 The less Game of Thrones you watch the more your life improves, but the more Game of Thrones you read the less your life improves also. So I don't recommend either and I've never read the books. Lol
