"Dad vibes" may not be the best way of putting it with all three of Homme's children having made abuse allegations against him and having subsequently been granted restraining orders.

Or… could Brody have coached them into what to say in order keep them away from him and be petty… No One Knows.
@Vincent-yv9ng2 жыл бұрын
@@mattvgyo Yeah, the guy with decades of documented substance abuse and anger management issues is the wronged one here. C'mon man.
@skyrider2452 жыл бұрын
Yea they didn't write that (was put together by Brody's boyfriend) as it turns out, his daughter was real tho but she recently rescinded it, not saying Homme shouldn't try being better for his family but he is honestly trying, anyway happy to see him performing for Hawkins tonight

@@Vincent-yv9ng I'm glad you have inside information and know the specifics, rather than assuming.
@Vincent-yv9ng2 жыл бұрын
@@mattvgyo I'm glad it's so easy for you to discount a whole-ass domestic abuse trial, several court filings and statements from Brody Dalle and their kids. Homme is in the news every few years for some sort of violent, drug-fueled altercation. Remember him kicking that female photographer in the face? I don't need "inside information" to make an informed judgment about who Homme is. He's been showing us that for years. But yeah, he's the hapless victim of a devious, manipulative woman. Get real. I am not saying that Dalle is a saint, but it's absolutely possible for both people in an abusive relationship to be toxic, abusive people. I still can't begin to understand how that automatically exonerates the male abuser, but that seems to be the way the culture is trending right now. As seen in the Depp/Heard trial. Gross. Trung is right in that Homme's obviously been trying to make amends and his daughter's restraining order has been lifted, but that doesn't mean he's a changed man, neither does it imply the abuse never happened. His kids are giving him a second chance, but that doesn't mean I have to be comfortable with his art or like the fact that people forgive him for every shitty thing he does. I admit freely that I am terrible at seperating the art from the artist and my opinion on this obviously (!) matters far, far less than his children's. I would be overjoyed if they came out of this unscathed and able to have a functioning relationship with a father who isn't abusive to them or their mother, but I'm reserving judment for now. He's been this way for a long, long time. That's the last I'll say about this. I wasn't trying to start this petty discussion and public muckraking is not my thing, but that comment of yours struck me as asinine incel bullshit. (Sorry not sorry.) I was really just commenting on an odd choice made by the CME video editing team that I, as a marketer, would not have made. Sorry CME, you may delete this whole thread if you wish.
