Watching this video made me nostalgic. The traditional attire of the old lady is very similar with the traditional attire of the Karbi tribes traditional attire of Karbi Anglong in North East India. We called it "Pekok".The way she tied the traditional attire is also same. Only the colour pattern is bit different.karbi attire consist of red, white and black. Design of the attire is similar with Pekok worn by Karbi women. Face tattooing is also prevalent among the Karbi tribes (15 lakh population) of Karbi Anglong, West Karbi Anglong,Nagaon,Morigaon,Ri-bhoi,West Jaintia Hills, East Khasi Hills, Biswanath, Sonapur, Dimoria etc. in North East India. Our ancestors believe we migrated from Yunan province through folklore and folk songs. May be we belongs to same race but language is bit different now which might be because of migration and mixing with other language.

There was no Yunnan when u migrated so no proof that you people migrated from there…….only ahoms have some cultural link to yunnan if we see the chronicles
@HTEjang Жыл бұрын
@@Aradhna67-d6sThough the person above may have by unknowingly mentioned Yunnan, but he is presenting the similarities with the Karbis(except the language) and maybe some other tribes of NE as well and they may also have migrated to there present settlement. So we can't rule out that there is no connection until proper research is done.

I don't know how the interconnection between some of the ethnic groups from North India or the Philippines and the Dulong people is because of their facial tattoos. But my ethnic group called 'Rawang' from Northern Burma is strongly related to this group in everything except facial tattoos. The words when they describe grandmother- 'Vzi' or granddaught-'pvli' are pretty much the same meaning and definition. And there are so many similarities not only in the voice tones but also in the colorful clothes cause our traditional wears are very colorful.

The tattoo material and the process is very similar, also the weaving technique. A very strong connection to the tribes Cordillera region in the Philippines, also they are one of the first tribe to settle in Philippines from Formosan people from Taiwan.

Why do they have houses? Our Gond tribes live in tents because they are low caste and not allowed to live with us high caste people.
