There were plans to bring in companies and diversify the economy, but Goa continues to be primarily promoted as a tourist destination, which feels counterproductive. A prime example of this resistance to stability is the rejection of services like Uber and Ola. Moreover, the management of various sectors, such as restaurants, taxis, and goods, often feels inefficient and unreliable. While walking 5 kilometers might be manageable for me, it’s certainly not practical for my family members, especially with all their luggage. Sadly, this experience has left me with no desire to return, as many people there come across as arrogant, treating visitors like walking money bags rather than earning their livelihood with integrity. The lack of infrastructure development isn’t solely due to corruption within ruling parties; it’s also a result of widespread resistance from individuals. This problem has persisted regardless of which party is in power-be it Congress in the past or the current ruling party. Instead of fixating on blaming political parties, we should prioritize fostering collaboration and understanding to promote meaningful development. Pointing fingers achieves nothing; only working together can drive progress.

Several warnings have been given to people who visited to goa to be peaceful, but unfortunately people don't understand and behave rudely and aggressively fight and end up in criminal activities. That's the reason locals from both goa and Karnataka are fed up of the disobedient domestic tourism, specifically from Delhi and utter pradesh. Looking at this the international tourist don't find the place peaceful at all. The initial steps were taken to avoid the same domestic tourism by increasing the prices so limited could afford tourism and peaceful decent domestic crowd can be attracted. Hopefully this will help us to get more international tourism rather then the domestic once. For now it's better that we don't have much domestic tourist Hopefully the crime rates will reduce which were never seen here in the peaceful state GOA. Message to all tourist please behave like guest and not like you own the place or hotels for fun Goa is not a playground for criminals. Goa should also start checking if there are any criminal cases on a person before letting in tourist. We always like to have tourism but peaceful and friendly who like to go home back after from where they come

I think the Goa tourism has lost the focus along the way along with babus who are willing to sell themselves to whoever can pay them more commissions in land deals. The departments of environment does not check if there is enough space for car parking in the hotels. Just issues new projects and hotels constructions without making the necessary requirements for parking. Eventually taxi and private vehicles park on the road causing inconvenience to the rest of the public. I feel there should be a freeze on any more constructions of hotels. The roads, the garbage collection, the road and sound pollution need to be checked. The Power and water should be available. The PWD Water department SHOULD not TAKE an undertaking saying that the individual should not hold the department responsible if there's no water supply

After reading all the comments and my personal experience of goa is really very bad. I cannot say who gave me that bad experience are local goans but they are restaurents staffs and owners. The staff of that restaurent broke beer bottle on customers head for just asking to play the music for 5 more minutes which was shut off 2 hrs before the mentioned time at their place. I was the eye witness. Not only this case, in two days of stay i saw minimum ten similar incident. I talked to local people and they said the restaurant owner and staff who are doing these things are not local. I don't know the truth for the same but can say problem is from both thei
