Both of the GoalZeros look pretty awesome. The 600 looks really nice. I remote camp with a small travel trailer and usually put up tarp shelters for outside cooking, sitting and some place for dry storage for gear and firewood (including tender and kindling) I like to use led lights for these shelters. The 600 is perfect for that. I also have a small tarp that I set up for my generator if rain is in the forecast. The Mini would be ideal for this. All that being said, my favorite, by far, is my old kerosene lanterns hung from tripods made from small limbs or trees. They add so much to the overall warmth of a campsite. It is getting hard to find a decent kerosene lantern these days as even the German name brands tend to be manufactured in China and leak. If you spot an older lantern in a flea market or garage sale.....snag it. I subbed.

Nice! Thanks for coming over to the channel and sharing! I remember my dad would use kerosene lanterns or the Coleman propane lanterns as a kid growing up. The warmth is definitely something that is so unique to those kerosene lanterns. The color of the light would be amber instead of white which sounds awesome. Thanks again for stopping by!

Kind of click bait, no mention of the crush light on the thumbnail.

Man, this was so long ago… I totally forgot about that. Would you like to see a review on the crush one by goal zero?

Would the crush light be good for a tent lantern? It’s lower lumen but I feel like that may be a good use for it. Thoughts?
