“No one is born hating another person because of the colour of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite.” Nelson Mandela

I didn't know John Lewis until his death. But I'm glad to have learned about him. People like Mr. Lewis are who give me a sense of hope for humanity, that we have empathy and benevolence in our blood.

I just finished watching Selma and wow, I mean wow! I was already an admirer but so young and to be brave like that, may his memory live on along with all those who were brave enough to stand against injustice! May we all continue to stand up for what we believe in.

Dr. Martin Luther King., "An assassin’s bullet could only end his life but the spirited fire that he set forth razed on to bring equal rights to all..." Everyone has dreams but how many are willing to stake their life to fulfill that dream. The courage and commitment to give your life to create what really matters. To give away the comforts of this day to manifest the tomorrow that is yet to be. The clarity of vision as to what is of vital importance for the times we live in and for posterity, this sets apart great men from just men.

Heavenly Father, May Mr. John Robert Lewis rest in peace in Abraham's bosom where we're sure the angels carried him to await the final judgment where he will be welcomed into Christ's kingdom, his name being in the Lamb's book of life, according to your infinite wisdom and providence, in the name of Christ Jesus Amen.

@@putraismail5544 That kind of comment may work with somebody who's afraid of you or perhaps ignorant to their identity, however you don't get to use your generic racial bigotry on me because I'm better than that. So how about you provide an actual "educated response" Instead of this spheudo intelligent well rehashed narrative that you have imposed on several individuals who had nothing to do with the ideology you so carelessly set against them..
