ABOUT AZURIN MAZLAN
Azurin first started playing football around the age of eight. She is the first Malaysian woman goalkeeper to play in an international women's football league.
She was named the Best Goalkeeper and achieved four clean sheets in the Karnataka Women’s League 2021/2022 season.
Azurin was awarded the ‘Best Women Player’ at the 2015 & 2018 National Football Award.
Azurin represented Malaysia from the youth level up to the senior team. Before making the switch to India's Misaka United FC, she represented Melaka United at the Malaysian league.
Her recent outing was at the AFC Women's Asian Cup Qualifiers. She also has in her belt; appearances in the AFC U-12 , U-14, U-19, AFF Women Championship and SEA Games.
