I'm a 5"7' goalie playing U16 in England. I was in the same situation as you at first, I couldn't get to high balls and still struggle tipping shots over the bar, but the best thing that worked for me was improving core explosive power and leg strength. Another few ways that can make your overall goalkeeping ability better is by improving shot handling, and kicking ability. My best attribute is my throwing, I can easily throw to the half way line after all of my hard training. Basically, never give up! If you can make yourself good enough, you're tall enough!

Are you hitting your head against the ground or is it whiplash? Might have to do with your diving technique and the way you're flexing your core, I sometimes get a rush of blood to my head when I throw myself a little too violently and it gives me a slight headache, if you're experiencing something like that it's all about technique and body control plus keeping your eyes open and on the ball it will help a lot
