the thing i was most happy to see is that the pens did not look painfully slow against montreal. The Habs are a young team and the pens stayed with them and dominated in stretches.

It’s awesome seeing Geno do well. Keep riding the mojo as long as possible! I hope Sully doesn’t mess up that line to help Sid. Just give it a little time - Doc, Sid and Rusty will be just fine. Yeah, Bau seems better suited as a bottom 6 player.

I'd be VERY comfortable moving forward with Ned and Blomqvist. Jarry probably looks pretty good to the Avs and Oilers right about now.

Do you think Blomquist is ready to be #1? Jarry is a better goalie than Ned, regardless if Ned was hot for a week and a half. Ned hasn't shown he can be a starter his whole career. I like Ned, and I don't trust Jarry much either, but at the end of the day, Jarry is better, and not sure Blomquist is ready yet to be a starter. I almost think they need the three currently.

Absolutely. Crosby looks dull, beau is a 3rd liner and rust is rusty. Get the first line back together from the end of last season. That line needs some size and fight to it.

Goaltending remains the Pens biggest question, yet our giveaway to takeaway ratio against Montreal was ridiculous, and every time we have a PP, we're giving up a breakaway or an odd-man rush. Give up odd-man rushes constantly thanks to Letang, Karlsson, Pettersson, and Malkin, but it's the goaltending. No, stop all the stupid passes that lead to difficult situations, and the goaltending will pick up.

Jarry is what he is and it’s not great. For the price tag he’s gotta make those momentum keeping saves but he doesn’t. Bad vibes in those tough games The pens are gonna have to take back a questionable contract if they find a trade partner for Jarry. *just realized Zadorov only makes $500k more per year than Graves. Good grief!
