Goan Alle Belle | Goan Coconut and Jaggery Pancakes | Pancake Tuesday | Rainbow Pancakes

We grew up calling these Mankeo. I never knew they were also called Alle Belle until my sister in law mentioned it to me 😆
The ingredients are all mentioned in the video.
The batter for the pancakes has to be made thin consistency. Please add the water accordingly. You might require more or less of the water mentioned above.
250ml=1cup
The colours are totally optional. I’ve used gel paste colours. You can use liquid colour as well.

Alle Belle has different variations for fillings. This is how my mum would make them.

Yes Edna you can. Put all the ingredients for the filling in a pan and cook on low heat for a couple of mins with about 2-3 Tbsp of water
