So maybe we spoil our goat kids a little in the 8 weeks before they go to their new homes as pets and future milking goats. But, who doesn't want to spend a cold rainy day inside in Pajamas? Winifred and Monty who are 3 week old Nigerian Dwarf Goat siblings think it's a great idea to stay inside the barn and play! The only thing cuter than goat kids is baby goats in pajamas! Goats have zero interest in letting even one rain drop touch their heads, so these little ones enjoyed their time out, but decided to stay inside the barn! I'm pretty sure they both actually shook their head, NO! when they looked outside at the rain! Stay warm everyone! Summer is coming!

2things I just love about this video: 1 because they are babies, 2 because they are babies in cute Jammies!!!! We have a goat creamery as well with approx 100 goats (mostly alpines) mixed with a couple of lamanchas and saanens. People don't understand that when the night time cold air hits, those babies need to be warm and cozy. I put fleece and knit sweaters on the babies if it's cold out. To all the bleeding hearts out there. If you have never lived on a farm don't judge, Especially when your ignorant of animal husbandry. Just because they look cute does not mean the PJ's do not serve a purpose. When it is cold weather sometimes it's needed to take extra precautions with your livestock. Especially the young ones if the weather has been severe for several days. Lighten up. My sister and I used to dress up chickens, dogs and whatever we could catch and play with them. My Pony was dressed up all the time. We braided her hair gave her hats and generally treated her like a doll. Thats what people did before they had video games and cell phones. Kids played outside. We we're thin and healthy and no Nature deficit disorder back then (1970's). I LOVE THIS VIDEO IT IS SO CUTE

So cute! Give them to meeee! There is this animal "abuse" debate going on in this post. I work at a rescue ranch. Animal abuse is a felony in the United States. It is: simple or gross neglect; intentional abuse and torture; organized abuse, including dogfighting and cockfighting; and animal sexual abuse. I put jackets and raincoats on horses and sweaters on dogs to keep them warm. Baby goats should stay warm too.
