Goat Management: Horn Trimming Part 2

When it comes to horn trimming majority of the cases are from male goats. For unknown reasons we do not know the reason behind it why their horns grow in an abnormal way. These are beautiful animals and we do not want their horns trimmed or cut in worst cases. But it is part of management too, we need to trim them in times when their overall well-being will be affected and their performance limited in case if you are using them for breeding purposes.
This video shows you I guess one of the many ways that you can perform such method in goat and may also be use in sheep breeds with horns.
Materials we used:
Wiresaw
Syringes (for the made-up handle)
Antibiotic spray
Cotton
Povidone (10%Sol)
Some ropes (for restraint the you lack personnel to handle the animal)
