Goat Management: Part 1 Wound Management on an Amputated Young Goat

This is an unfortunate case that we need to handle to save this goat`s life from becoming more miserable. With the owner`s consent we amputated this young animal`s already infected leg from the fracture that happened several days back. There was obvious infection and already decomposition of some parts of the skin and muscles on the area and the shattered bones were all over the affected area. Pus and foul smell was the welcome sight and scent that welcomed us upon opening the wound.
