Just got back from the traverse yesterday. Would recommend starting at Scatter Creek trail head down by the meadow. Better to start with the ridge crawl up than to finish with it, although it takes a toll on your legs early!

Thank you, Aaron, for your reply, and I totally agree! When we did this in 2014, the Miriam creek bridge was washed out, so we couldn't access the Scatter creek TH, so it's good to hear that the bridge must be repaired. Thank you for pointing this out

This is a perfect video between the map, photos, and video clips. You highlight a lot of places that most youtubers fail to point out. The "mystical" tone of the narration and loquacious adjectives were a bit much. But everything else was so well done. I don't care what anyone says, that trek you just laid out is easily the BEST the PCT has to offer: the wildlife, flowers, valleys, contrast in colors and types of rock, the water crossings, lakes and glaciers... and the challenge of the hike itself just makes it by far THE best. Was so tempted to take a Bonzi clipping to two home with me from the weathered, stunted evergreen trees up top.

Thanks, Stacey, for the inspiring review and helpful advice! It's always nice to know that people are watching! I totally agree, this was one of the best hikes I've ever been on, as we started, there was some anxiety that we could get it done, since there is no trail for about half of this trek, but it was definitely worthy! I just hope that the trail still exists from the North Fork Tieton River crossing, to the top as this trail was practically non-existent when we did this trip. Again, thank you so much for the awesome comments, please check in the website for more beta on this hike, and others!! tateventure.com/

Your video is super helpful. Everyone thinks the footage and pictures they take on a trip are the best and worth seeing. However, you did a lot more than that, and laying out your trek the way you did is actually really helpful, and inspiring. People want to know stuff that you included about the access points and terrain and distances/elevations, that most videos fall well short of even mentioning.

Wow! I am humbled for sure, thank you for such a nice review! I will for sure keep this in mind when I get to creating more videos. Again, thanks for the kind words, always appreciated!
