It makes me so happy that voice actors are getting more and more recognition. As a kid I always noticed similarities in character voices and assumed they must be done by the same person. I would imagine what they probably look like based on the voices and try to identify them in different shows. Then the internet became a thing and I could go look up who does this and what else do they do and what do they look like. I feel like they should be just as famous as a screen actor but since you never see them it's easy to forget them. This rise in popularity and common knowledge is awesome

Saw Veronica Taylor at a comic con in 2021, even though it was during the later stages of covid, she was interacting with fans than anyone else. She wanted to know why no one asked her about any of her other work. 😂 She acted like she was doing us all a huge favor by being there. At the end, she finally said ONE Naruto thing. Begrudgingly. So boring and awful. (Just for context, there were no writer's strikes going on or anything that would have prevented her from discussing Naruto at the time. She just wanted to talk about her TV appearances on like Nickelodeon and stuff. I mean, come on! We're at ComicCon, not the Kid's Choice Awards.)

I was a bit stunned to see the informality as well, but I’m assuming this was all set up beforehand since the approaches weren’t dead-on like with a normal paying customer, and were typically from the side. I assume this was discussed ahead of time, but for most people they definitely say excuse me or Mr/Ms at cons! 👍
