02:52 I am a new Frag Head but I jumped toward the attars! Same way as I use Fountain pens (Gama, Guider) instead of ball points or mechanical watches (mostly Hmt and Orient) instead of quartz (I love Casio though). Maybe I am traditional in that way. But your channel couldn't have launched at a more perfect time! It gave me that nudge and down the rabbit hole I went!

Yours is the only KZbin channel that I would watch an almost 52 minute video and be sad when it was over. I get so much enjoyment and always feel more informed after every one of your videos. Thank you.

I really enjoy this informal video style! And thanks a lot Zak's email...you have no idea how excited I am. One of the hotel I stayed at when I was in Mumbai supplied us with this sandalwood soap I was obsessed with but never grabbed it before I left. I have looked around since then online but the prices were ridiculous. I just ordered a bunch :) . Enjoyed the whole video! Keep it up!
@mroz93916 жыл бұрын
The Perfume Channel yeah it was always relaxing to come back to the hotel at the end of the day and enjoy a fragrant bath. This soap will reinforce my wonderful scent memory of my time there!

Amber Absolu is mY FAVE TF!!! But Tobacco is a must have for me, Venetian is good for every day, and of course NdN ... Santal Blush has unacceptable sillage on me... although it's mY fave name from The line... Jasmin Rouge I think is amazing too & Cafe Rose.

Some thoughts Nikhil. Don't change to talking about designer perfumes. Your English is not weird, everyone is different. Stay real as always. Keep burning oud! Send me a sandal soap! ASAP Don't use the F word (just kidding) Don't say sorry for making a long video. We love you!

Royal crown is still in production and you can buy any of there current line and have it shipped to the US without issue. They have a website send an email and they will send an invoice. Alan over at Beverly Hills perfumeray will carry the line in the near future so not sure why u think you get it.

The Perfume Channel well your local guy definitely does not know how to source hard to find items. I speak to the folks at royal crown regularly and I purchased 3 bottles last month but yes Alan will be carrying there line up which shall make it very easy to obtain anything in there current lineup and I adore Celebration best summer citrus in the game

Nikhil, thank you so much for sharing your passion here - I sincerely appreciate it and I always look forward to what you have to say. I can see from the comments that you have quite a diverse demographic following you. I love learning from everyone from all walks of life around the world and I admire how considerate, gracious and kind you are to everyone who approaches you. We can certainly all learn from one another and I thank you for your efforts to acknowledge and appreciate everyone. I don't know if you would feel comfortable with it, but if the spirit moves you I would love to know more about you as my perception may not match the reality. I must admit that I have the idea that niche and indie perfumes aren't readily available in India, and I do wonder how you discovered them and how much interest there is for that sort of thing where you are, and is there a fraghead community there? I have seen your videos with other friends there, and I'd love to know how you met, and also how your friends, family and colleagues feel about your passion.

according to tom ford santal blush the base notes used in that perfume is from australian sandal wood
@jayadev82726 жыл бұрын
I started my frag journey with real sandal wood from mysore and rubbing it on special stone with bit of water and making paste of it for devotional purpose. I love you work towards Indian perfumes and attars to the next level. I live in Australia at present and got to sniff the real Australian sandal wood, which has not much effect on me when compared to The Royal Mysore Sandal Wood.

I love and was surprised Santal Blush made your list. It's the more natural version of Adam Levine for Woman which these days can be found for about $15, both by the same nose, Yann Vasnier and I'd say the latter is a pretty good dupe. Adam Levine is more like winter rush hour in NYC where I grew up, whereas Santal Blush is more gentle and elegant.

I think you are correct that the market for designer fragrances but I also feel it’s because most people are not educated. I personally have turned a few people into niche brands. A lot of people don’t even know about the wonderful endless world of niche. Most people would think Versace is high end. They are high end but not in the world of perfume. Keep educating sir, great video

Nikhilbhai , Congrats on the New Name, well could not get the reason to change, but yaa can understand the whimsicalness, as the topic is so, so are we, which bonds us. Well as usual very nice vdo, its refreshing everytime i watch ur vdo's no matter how long they are. The nitty gritties and the nuisances of a scent are explained to the nano level. One if wants, can feel the smell, if he closes his eyes and just hears ur vdo. Such is the detailing and magic creation. It lures one, with the mellow description to the last note... Very soft and informal but impressive vdo, this will go a long way. Being a Doctor, I wonder how do you take time out for such an intricate hobby, in the first place I wonder how u have an inclination(afford) to be hobbied ,with such stringent academic history. As I always say, you are heading towards being the un challenged Fragrance Guru's on the net. I would suggest, you may have two channels, one for Niche/Ouds/Ettars et. al. and the other for Designer ones, which may have more (huge) following. They can be graduated to the niche channel after they get to know the basics. Pls take up more segmented vdo's , so that it becomes the Handbook on the particular topic. As you have made so many vdo's already you are more experienced with the nuisances of YOU TUBE, my suggestions may not fit everywhere, or perspective may be different. Wish u Luck!!! As always sorry for the long comment, but could not hold back writing... Aha ya the way u hold n spin the perfume bottle is very elegant , its as if someone is gracefully holding a pretty lady.
