Dr. Nikhil I owe you a big thanks. I just received my Ruh Khus from MLR just now. Oh god it smells truly divine. Heaven must smell like this. I feel like drowning myself into it and never get out. I have used Tom Fords Grey Vetiver for years, but it is way below par compared to the Vetiver attar I just smelt. I am now hooked to this. I don’t think you need to smell anything from the West when you have the Vetiver attar that you have.

So happy to actually have 6 ml. of Ruh Khus from M.L. Ramnarain. I haven't really tested it in the heat yet. But nothing can truly prepare you for your first sniff of this attar. Precious juice green, muddy, intoxicating. Thanks for telling us about this product brother.

5:12 Creed's Veitver Geranium. Will sample Nikhil. Aedes De Venustus. I like the one L'Artisan did for them. Don't know why the community doesn't like it. Olympic Orchids has some very nice chocolates. Wood Cut was nice too. Few of their others, well, it just takes and extended amount of time before it gets to the stage I like. I have so many samples of USA houses that I can't keep up. Love Kerosene . Have to sample Gallager though. Daniel was having a sale when the bottle transition happened. Posted it on BaseNotes, but waited till I got done from work before I went to order. Came home and Bergamust as well as the others were GONE. Samples and all. Buy first, post later. Lesson learned . Oh, forgot, won a free bottle from Aedes . They used to give away the .25 sprayers with purchases back then too. Very nice people. Darkwood Forest.Will look it up. Great job with the in depth coverage of Vetiver.

Enjoyed! I'm a huge fan of vetiver fragrances so you've given me a couple more that I will have to check-out. I've put my nose on several vetiver essential oils and I love how it's used in perfumer....anything form the clean and crisp and soapy, to the grassy, to the dank, dark, earthy, rooty and pungent. I just love these prominent, and not so prominent, vetiver scents. Hi brother. I sampled dry and green vetiver and I assume that dry vetiver is what you described as Haitian vetiver, which is sweet and woody in comparison to green vetiver which is very grassy and less sweet.

bro when we were kids we bought a cooler and it was lined with khus grass. when the water fell on khus it gave a very good smell. that was real vetiver. sadly now no coolers available and even if available they dont have the khus which we got 20 years ago.
