The Gobi Boot is my favorite shoe of all time. I have both colors; Bracken and Obsidian. I recently scored the winterized Gobi off amazon for $99. I hope Vivobarefoot brings this boot back next year, it was taken off their site a couple times since its introduction. I'm with you man! The Gobi was my first pair of Vivo's, back in 2018. I've hiked big mountains and chopped a lot of firewood in these shoes. I'm still considering this Gobi Mid boot, but I have to order a smaller size because they seem to run large. I'll check out Origo. Welcome to my channel!

Thank you for the video! I have 43 eur size and narrow foot. In terms of length it looks like I have the same free space for my toes in front as you do. I had the same concerns: too wide in the mid foot (even if I tie them up at max) and hooks on laces are very uncomfortable. I've sized down to 42 and it's much shorter in terms of length, my toes hit the hard rubber in front, even though the width is perfect. And taking out the insole doesn't help, it's still not long enough and my toes hit the front when I walk. The insole itself is a bit wider and much shorter comparing to Tracker leather AT. I think it's just a specific design of this model. How does it fit comparing to Gobi Hiber that you reviewed recently? Especially in width? I assume Hiber should feel better because of the insulation, but do you need to tighten them up too much as well to avoid foot swinging?

Yup, sounds like you had the same trouble as me, and I believe you are correct about the new Gobi models in general: they are just too wide for us people with narrow feet. I've tried to size down a couple different models, and i did not have enough toe room either. I wish Vivo would come out with medium and wide width options. I have a video for the Hiber: The gobi hiber fit me great because of the insulation, but if you are looking for a winter boot check out my video review of the Gobi warm lined, that boot fit me great and looks awesome! I'm going to make a video in the future about which models fit narrow feet, and my 2 current favorite shoes are the Sensus and the RA Lux. Hope this helps!

I enjoy watching your videos👍I wish you showed footage outdoors but perhaps you don’t test all of the shoes outdoors? Anyway, I also found these very wide and high volume on my narrow feet when I tried them on in a local shop in my city. I liked them otherwise. Good ground feel and modern look.

I just got a GoPro and want to start getting some trail footage soon. My Totem sandals are on the way, and I will be taking them on the trail, and get some GoPro footage. I'm from the US. @@HokanaMatata lol! I lived in Montana and Utah for several years, and they have many large mountains and very snowy and cold winters, so I hear you! I now live in Tennessee, still gets cold here, and not sandal weather but I can get by without winter boots. I'm finding out I have subs from all parts of the world, such as Italy, Germany and now Sweden. The power of YT! Stay warm brother!

here we are! another beautiful barefoot shoe review from this channel eheh. These boots are amazing! I had to return them because they were too large for my foot, and get them in a smaller size, so I'll see if I can get them too... but I love them. Gobi leather boots never disappoint!🫶
