Thank you so much! I was so confused between -본 적 and -보다. I couldn't see the difference, I was really losing it lol. Now I can see the difference, my mind is finally at peace.

Im back after 3 months and its crazy how what you say literally sticks. Everytime I think of this form I hear you saying "Give it a try and see how it goes"

Finally a short video! Sorry Billy, but those 1-2 hour videos labeled as only discussing two grammar points... I haven’t been able to even start watching those. I know they were probably live classes, but man, some editing like in this was would be great. Keep doing this pls. ^^

Hi Billy. Do you have a lesson in how to say " every time" in korean? Like "every time i do this, every time I walk....etc"? Thank you again . Have a great day ahead. :)

Yes, my live stream about "If" and "When" also covered that form. It's ~때마다. There's also an abridged version of it here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/h5DMfZZ8mLxobdk

Can I say “막장 먹어 본 적은 없는데 곱장 먹어 본 적이 있어요” if I want to say I haven’t had one experience but I have had another (in this case, similar) one or is using the particle twice seen as repetitive? How would I write such a sentence? Thanks!

Billy, what does "것일까" mean? There's like barely any content on it. =(
@GoBillyKorean
@GoBillyKorean 5 жыл бұрын
것 + 이다 + ~까(요) ending. I have a video about the ~까(요) ending as well as a live stream you can find on my channel. The 것이다 form is a future tense, which I also covered during the future tense live stream.

@@GoBillyKorean I looked up both your live stream and the Learning Korean series, but there wasn't any explanations or examples with "걸까". I'll give you an example to show you what I mean. "널 사랑해서 나의 눈에 특별해 보이는 걸까" and "옆의 남자들의 눈에도 넌 특별한 걸까". Is the translation still the same like "Could it be"?
@GoBillyKorean
@GoBillyKorean 5 жыл бұрын
~걸까 is just 것 + 이다 + 까(요). 것 + 이다 is a future tense form (I did a live stream about this), and combined with ~까 would mean "would it be~" or "could it be~."

billy isn't this a present perfect ? the 적이 있다 / 없다? it represents one usage of present perfect isn't??

I recommend not using any sort of English terms like that with Korean. It's going to cause confusion since they're not equivalents.
