It's the language that interests me most, but language is culture, so I guess that's what got me interested in the culture.

I kind of talk about that in Ep. 25 on plural nouns, though not specifically this example. "These people" is "이분들" (polite) or "이 사람들" (impolite).

Thanks~ I'll keep making new episodes. And yeah, both sentences are right.

oh my god an hour after watching this video I was in my room and I started remembering the words for that and out of nowhere I said that person in Korean. I got so freaked out cause I just said a random word in korean and put it together with 그 and then I realized I said that person 😂

Yes it's used to suggest things, but it doesn't have to be "Let's~." It can also be used in other ways such as "could he/she~"

Lol either I didn't have annotations on or you missed the sub button. Either way, these videos are very helpful and well made. 수고하세요! 대박이에요! I don't know if that last part is right.....

I realized that some of the example sentences you were giving, sometimes had "게" next to "이 그 저". What does 게mean?
@GoBillyKorean4 жыл бұрын
게 here is just 것+이.

살고 있을까 can you please explain this? Btw you really speak like native!!
@omeeenom89394 жыл бұрын
~을까 is added to turn a statement into a question when attached to the verb stem adding ~고 있어 behind a verb stem emphasises that the verb is currently ongoing so he's asking if someone is living in the house

i think this is whats going on but im not an expert

why this two sentences are written with different endings, both are conjugated in the present?: 이게 내 가방이고 그게 니 가방이야
@GoBillyKorean7 жыл бұрын
The first one uses the "and" ending, for connecting two sentences. So it means "This is my bag and...." The second uses casual speech (such as what you'd use with close friends).
