Diablo 4 - 80M + BOULDERS Druid Build - SHREDDER Season 5 Guide

Great stuff, I am playing this as well and just finished T8. It is my fav build since S4. Some interesting things you may consider: 1. I use Provocation on top of Dominate and Obsidian Slam, focusing more on OP. For bosses and the stronger elites this helps. Starting to see hits close to 200mi dmg which I love, and gear is far from min-max. 105k health is great to have. 2. Airidah's Inexorable ring. This was a game changer. I started using it because I lack the GA Nature Magic CD amulet. But can't drop it anymore... being able to pull enemies makes farming so great, improving clear speeds. You can pull after casting an OP boulder and then delete things. 3. Wildheart hunger never worked for me. Switched to max life, boulder boot with Metamorphosis. For t8 this was needed as the CC'ing is too annoying when you face waller/barrier elites and cant clear things quick. And for t7 farming Wildbolt is super fun. 4. Switched from changeling debt to retaliation as the 15% dmg is not enough considering the downtime. Even with tendrils, this build lacks poison for changeling or heightened malice in my opinion, plus while shredding if enemies are not CC'd you may lose damage (also in t8 they become unstoppable quite often). 5. Hurricane duration on weapon for me is a must in this build. You really don't want to be casting hurricane all the time and risking other cooldowns. Plus you don't need chance to boulders twice to keep 10 boulders alive. I have 7seconds of CD on hurricane before it is over which makes the game flow soooo much better. 6. Bulwark instead of Trample. 60k life available at very low CD. With this setup I was able to farm 600 aether in t7 (my best run solo) and can now finish t8, but need to work on damage and masterworking (have little to none GAs as well) and then t8 will be easier. same. except i cant use airidah. legendary ring is too valuable in that slot. Blood boiling aspect is also good with this build. Probably not optimal though. they also removed dmg to cc from staff so i need that temper. near infinite uptime on bulwark so tibault is very good. glove and boots utility slot goes to hurricane size. i need a bit more crit chance though i do too much normal damage. my staff has crit chance temper, boulder has inherent 20% crit chance but still not enough. op hits saves this build. maybe i should try tyrael might and earthen might instead of insatiable and ursine.

@@musicxxa6678 I wouldnt suggest playing with hurricane size as it makes it harder to hit the hitboxes on enemies, specially bosses. Yeah crit is a pain but with good rolls/MW on gloves and the cataclysm ring I reach around 40, which adds up to 66 with boulder and predatory instict, so that is good enough. One of my priorities is getting it to 75% for sure. I could switch out of the 20% life boon by now (reaching over 100k health already), but wont since I like the OP damage. There is a temper for Earth Crit Chance as well in case that is really bothering you, but for tempers I go damage to crowd on weapon, to max it quickly, and then crit damage on gloves (here could be earth crit, earth overpower, etc). I dont like blood boiling, but there are other interesting aspects such as crashtone and natural balance.

Very good points. I made the same adjustments in s4. I wanted to try a different build in s5, tempting to switch back to boulder. I had lots of fun with it.

AH YES Airidah was so underrated.. And of cos the hurricane duration was a nice touch... It really makes gameplay smoother compare to boulder but this is debatable ..

Build aside - this format where we get to see gameplay - the content that makes the build and your big noggin on the screen at once should be an absolute standard for build guides. One question boulder vs landslide. Or at this point is it just a fun factor thing.

This looks like it might be a little stronger based on low-mid gear level. I feel like Starless Skies puts the exclamation point on landslide that Mjornic doesn't quite cover, vs this works awesome with a good Dolmen.

short question, would mjölnic and starless skies even work together? starless skies says that if you spend your resource the resource cost is reduced and damage is increased by 10% for 3 seconds stacking up to 50%. probably here its the same like with ancestral guidance? mjölnic makes you spend no spirit (you are not having infinite spirit like it says) and probably you wont get any damage multiplier then cause it just activates with spending your resource? another question: you think boulder or slidestorm is better?

I discovered adding Flickerstep (boots) and Airidah's Inexorable will (ring) will diminish your Ulitimate downtime nearly to none. making Cataclysm going nonstop.

i see in t7 your boulder hits for 11 to 16 mil damage i did boulder damage on polearm as affix and my damage jumps from 39mil to 55 mil. Also i am using shako/tyrael and starless

Might try this out been playing the doom slide build or w.e and going crazy trying to get a good amulet it’s been 2 entire seasons now on Druid of never seeing envenom roll on or drop on an amulet for me. I swear unless you have 50+billion gold to buy w.e you want getting amulets with passives you want is impossible it feel the the drop rate is close to the original drop rate for Ubers just to get one with envenom

I dont think it's viable. It used to be the most insane build in Diablo 4 history in like season 1, I think. Absorb all damage and BOOOOOOOM. One shotted EVERYTHING. They nerfed it hard.

Can someone point out something to me i may be mising, in the build guide it says to get masterwork on wildheart boots to be on ranks of boulder but the pair i have dont have ranks to boulder on them. they have movement, cold resist, shapeshift and heightened senses unless it was put in by accident.

Sometimes on mobalytics if he puts in an Uber and he has a legendary backup in case you don't have the Uber, it will show the affixes you should get on the legendary over the top of the Uber you probably want. Ranks of Boulder appear on boots so if you don't have wildheart then try for legendary with Boulder on them.

I think slide is better for 2 reasons, 1) you don't have to be in melee range. You can blast things off screen and 2) it's brain dead button mash. Boulder with great survivability may be better at higher pits?

I made this. Too reliant on pressing buttons exactly on cd. On stormslide you just spam which is better since it really doesn't matter, except cata - I've also made sorc build which feels better. This builds feedback feels good, visually and sound. But Def need a macro for it to feel good

@@Thomas-hm5jz I made a stormslide cataclysm build with shred and its the fastest mf you are gonna find the game. And its strong and tanky enough to farm level 7 hordes with ease. My gear isnt even fully masterworked yet and its far from optimal in stats
